We have hired out one of The Cork's Karaoke booths on several occasions to celebrate a birthday and a get together with friends. The booth itself is completely separate to the bar area and makes a great private setting for small groups. Karaoke is lots of fun and the price for the hire is very reasonable. Whilst waiter service is... More

Fairly empty on a Sunday at lunchtime, but the food was great - The Pulled Pork burger (£9.50) had a * in the menu saying no salad with this burger, however when it was brought out there was salad/coleslaw anyway! Really tasty. You get a lot of food, the only possible downside is that it is served on a little... More

The staff at the cork have always been very accommodating and friendly. In paticular, Alex, one of the managers who had a nice chat with us and made sure we were having a good time. Thank you team!

We stopped for a 'quick snack' but were seduced by the variety on offer, both food and beers. The food was very tasty and well presented. We received service with a smile and cannot fault our decision to stop here. A good lunch time atmosphere.

Been to the cork a few times now to watch the sport as they show all the games for rugby and football (and I'm sure lots of other sports) on their big TVs dotted around the pub upstairs and downstairs. Just what you need, high up so you don't have heads in the way and large rooms so you're not... More

I've been to the Cork quite a few times and have experienced a great atmosphere and service! Really affordable for students with their drink deals. I've also enjoyed the food there a number times and especially love the chicken Caesar wrap, generous portions too.

needing to kill some time before our coach we stopped of in the cork for a while which then prompted us to get some dinner. we'd read their terrible reviews and for some reason thought that maybe it was an isolated case. however, when you realise their customer service is so awful as described on trip advisor, you feel silly... Dear Felix I believe your comment of 'terrible reviews' is totalling inaccurate when more than two thirds of our ratings on Tripadvisor are for 'Excellent' or 'Very Good'. 'Portions of fries were different sizes' - where in the world other than some fine dining places, would you find an exact same size? Sauces and cutlery are on tables. The stock... More

For drinks, I've Been there a lot and I can't say anything bad about it, that is what motivated me to join there for casual Lunch with a friend, as I choose the place I felt embarrassed , the food came in a tray with no ramekins or anything containing fries or the colslaw, We had to eat it from... AzaHar We're glad you like The Cork and yes, the way we present our food may not be to everyone's taste. It's actually getting quite common now ... trays, greaseproof paper ... very laid back, casual ... fun for most too. With regards to the way we cook our chicken, naturally it has to be cooked thoroughly and we do... More

Hi Dave Yes the Bath Christmas Market is manic and so are all of the food and drink outlets. I'm sorry you did not like our beef burgers. We use the best, lean, steak mince form a local butcher and season. The burger bun being a fresh brioche style, very popular these days. Finished with fresh lettuce, tomato and relish.... More

The Cork located on Westgate Buildings, Bath is situated within walking distance of all visitor attractions, shopping areas, the train station and coach park. The building where The Cork is, was historically a 'debtors' prison, and renovations have left the stunning Bath sandstone exposed. Comprising of two bars, two vaulted party pod booths, a conservatory and a large al fresco terrace area. The Cork offers an ideal location to socialise, relax, watch live sport or have a full on party! A full, varied range of wines, cocktails, hot beverages, real ales, cider, craft beers, plus an extensive list of whiskies, Bourbons and rums really make The Cork one of the places to visit in the UK. With a theme of fun fun and fun, The Cork has two Party Pods that can be hired for karaoke or live sports or to play your own music. A function area is available for larger parties too. Expect to see and listen to DJs, live bands, comedy acts and magicians, not to mention their own fun and games including the legendary Sunday night pub quiz. The food is fun too. All prepared on site, the hand crafted burgers, chili hot dogs, nachos and huge hand cut chips are legendary in Bath.
