I had looked online for somewhere to take my Mum for tea the day before Mothers Day. I found this in Visit Bath. My first impression on walking in was disappointment, I expected something a little more refined, the layout didn't look quite the way I expected and it smelled a little like a greasy spoon. However we ordered the... More

The atmosphere is very quintessentially English. A nice breakfast, a lovely pot of tea. Great service and I'd recommend it.

A nice breakfast with good service and a nice pot of tea. Reasonably priced for the centre of Bath. Recommend.

I called in late morning for tea. Its a very gentile place inside with their oil paintings and Georgian style. I ordered a pot of Lapsang Souchang and a slice of Victoria sponge cake. The tea was great ( it is a vastly underated tea in my view) and the cake was good and presented nicely. I don't think I... More

If you go to a tea room you expect a cosy atmosphere to chat over a cup of tea and a piece of cake in a quiet atmosphere. But this is better, for us two french girls on a day trip to Bath it was a great experience! It was cosy with very elegant decoration, lovely staff (thank you to... More

Selected for the initial impression we were immediately let down by the wobbly table, and plastic tablecloth. Then we had to check for cash as they don't take any cards. Despite this we ordered a "combo ploughmans" and baked potatoe for our lunch. In fairness the baked potatoe was fine, and reasonably priced but for my £9 I was expecting... More

Hello sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your visit to our well known, busy tearoom. My team and I work hard to provide locally sourced food and good customer service. Whilst I would happily review our ingredients on this occasion I think nothing would have made you happy. Surely upon entering and seeing the table coverings with your critical eye... More

Lovely, relaxing and elegant tearoom. Large selection of teas. We both had salads which were large and fresh. Good vegetarian options. Pleasant service.

Had lunch here after visiting the Roman Bath. This was our favourite meal for the whole UK trip. It is located near the Bath Abbey. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was exceptional. The variety of food was great too, with several choices for my vegetarian mother. We had a very enjoyable lunch followed by great tea. Highly recommended for... More

Have just been to Bath for lunch with my mum. Went in here and we were directed to a table (to seat 4) right by the door. We took it but then noticed an empty table in the corner, much more cosy. We asked if we could sit there. No we couldn't it was for in case 4 people came... More

We happened upon this place, and still full from our hotel breakfast, didn't want anything more than a scone and pot of tea. there was a good choice of teas available, and the scone was beautiful. Service was prompt and friendly. seeing what others were eating for their lunch made me wish I had more space to be able to... More
