Wow. Food quality was excellent, about £85 for 3 for lunch with wine, appetizers and wine. Worth every pound. Ambience of the wine cellar was nice and service excellent. Would highy recommend, don't take little kids though

I went here with my family the night before my 70th birthday which we celebrated by visiting Bath. The restaurant is small and very popular so booking is essential - we had left booking until a few days before and they were fully booked on...More

We dined here on New Year’s Eve and had the first sitting set menu. The food is some of the best food I have ever eaten - it was delicious, especially the sea bass! The service was impeccable, between cleaning the table and knowing who...More

Dear Rosemary, I would recommend you to phone them to confirm the validity as they might have restricted date when the voucher could be applied. It is also recommended to book a table in advance!

The prices are not high. No more than you would pay at a chain restaurant. We were quite surprised how reasonable they are for having such high quality food and service.

BOOKING IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. We are closed from 1st-14th August, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Easter Sunday & from 1st-14th January. Situated just a few steps away from the Roman Baths, our attractive and atmospheric restaurant is located in a charming candle lit historical cellar of natural Bath stone with vaulted ceilings throughout, and resembles the cavernous cellars of an Italian grotto. The main characteristic of our cuisine is its simplicity. We rely on the quality of our ingredients rather than on elaborate preparation. We also like to offer traditional Italian dishes with a contemporary twist because we strongly believe in those 'Sapori' (flavours). With our finest ingredients coming from Italy, and all of our fresh vegetables, seafood and meats sourced locally, we are able to ensure high quality dining that will exceed your expectations.
