Delicious afternoon tea with friends for their birthday treat. The sandwiches were very nice, the fruit scones were warmed up which was a nice touch and the pot of tea was topped up which we appreciated. The cakes were fabulous. We had a slice of...carrot, red velvet and biscoff and tried each. Really, really good.More

We were struggling to find somewhere to have lunch in Bath that would accommodate a group of adults, a baby and a small dog. When we enquired in the tea room we were welcomed in and room was made for us. We then proceeded to...have the best sandwiches we've ever had, and took cake away with us for a treat later! The other group in the team room were having a special themed tea which looked amazing and we all agreed we would like to experience in the future. The staff were extremely friendly, chatted to our little grandson and the dog and our lunchtime turned from a damp trudge around Bath into a lovely, relaxed time. We would highly recommend the Mad Hatters Tea Party to anyone visiting BathMore

Afternoon tea was lovely. You could choose what sandwiches you wanted, limitless hot drinks, warm scone with jam and cream and then a large slice of your choice of cake. Small in size and worth booking before going, especially if it's a weekend. Owners could...not have been more helpful.More

We booked the afternoon tea for 11 people for a hen do. The place was small as we had already been told so had 2 separate tables. The selection of sandwiches and cakes was lovely and all very fresh. The staff made extras if needed...more. We were told could take own prosecco so along with the tea and coffee provided we enjoyed toasting the new bride. We took Alice in wonderland themed props for fun selfies at a fun venue.More

Uniquely attractive place with friendly staff. Lovely fresh generous sandwiches. Ideal for a change from chain type venues. Adds to the charm of Bath.

Was looking for a last minute afternoon tea and the reviews looked great for this place. We were lucky to get a table considering inside sits 10 or so (and there was already a booking for 6) and it was raining so could not sit...outside. It is a family/small team run cafe. Enjoyed the theme for the cutlery and crockery. It was a nice touch. Could not see afternoon tea on the menu but they have it. I think can choose which sandwiches too depending on their options of the day, same with the cakes. All freshly made (felt home made) and generous size and fillings. I cannot compliment the egg sandwich enough - I was bowled over by the flavour (an egg sandwich is not normally worth raving about)! The surrounding ornaments and throne chair made the experience more unique. Did not disappoint and exceeded expectation expectations.More

Went for a baby shower. 10 of us. Although inside only has room for 2 tables. We had use of both tables so the whole area. We had afternoon tea. Well the sandwiches , cakes and scones were probably one of the best afternoon teas...I have ever had. The bread was fresh and soft, with plenty of filling inside them.the pieces of cake were huge, I cut mine in half, and the scones were warm, and each scone was served on its own plate with jam and cream in little, potsMore

Took my mum for a fantastic afternoon tea on her birthday. We were able to choose our sandwich fillings x 3 and were asked what home made slice of cake we wanted. It came with delicious home made scones (plain or fruit) and whatever hot...drink you chose. Even though it's in the centre of town with all the tourists it was the best afternoon tea I have had so far (and I've had many!!) Nothing was too much trouble, even our onion allergy was catered for as if it was an everyday problem. At £22.50 each it was very good value for money, hands down better than the pump rooms. Quirky place but very attentive, happy people. I will definitely go again. Thank youMore

This is our second visit to Mad Hatters and it was just as perfect as our first visit. The owner went out of her way to cater for us (we are fussy eaters with 2 vegetarians). The cafe, whilst small, is delightful. Decorated with all...the magic of Wonderland. We got a warm welcome and the food is delicious. We had some lovely fresh made sandwiches, some delicious scones with cream and jam and then some delicious cakes. We had unlimited tea and it is all beautifully presented. Mad hatters is the reason we made a second (extended), visit to Bath and it is well worth it. Thank you so much to the staff and owner, who feel more like friends to us with each visit.More

We discovered this quaint little eatery near the orange grove. It is a must try place for all Bath visitors. Their Biscoff cakes, tea-scones and assorted cookies are simply divine. Their sandwich platters and savory dishes are presented magnificently. The owners and the waitresses are...super courteous. The decor is simply awesome. The place has an ambience beyond words.More
