If you like real ale then this is one of the very few public houses in Bath that serves it correctly, even the surroundings reflect a time gone by when beer tasted like beer should. Without doubt one of the best points in the area.

It was well worth a visit! Located at the top of town this is a super Sherlock Holmesey pub serving some great real ales in a warm and cosy setting.

A nice old pub with friendly locals. Note this pub gets very busy, and it is an old building with lots of partitions so it can get very crowded. Bar staff were good and knowledgeable. Lots of different beers and also a nice selection on...More

Go down Lansdown Road and turn left into The Paragon. The Star Inn is a little way along on the left hand side.
