BURGERS N' BARRELS, Bath

We were excited to visit this place and had been planning to do so for a whole. However we were quite let down. The food was average: the meat tasted cheap and synthetic. The chicken on the chicken fries didn’t even taste like chicken. What...had the most negative impact of all was the staff. In particular the tall staff member from the kitchen was very hostile to the barman and continually swore at him very loudly. This staff member also tried to bring the customers into this argument, making the experience very uncomfortable and unpleasant for everyone. By the end we just wanted to pay the bill and leave. We doubt we will return which is a shame because we had high hopes for this visit.More

Decent Menu

A decent small bar with a good burger menu. I enjoyed the meal and drink and it was also a cent and welcoming place to visit.

An average first visit

Our first trip to Burgers and Barrels, which was average at best. The interior is really quirky and the atmosphere would have been great if it wasn’t for the staff arguing in plain sight / earshot of all the customers. In particular, one of the...younger members of staff thought it was acceptable to swear at who I assume was the manager. We found this quite unprofessional and a bit awkward. The food itself was average. The burgers were nice however the chicken tasted quite bland. The fries were nice though. We have been wanting to visit for quite a while and it’s a shame it didn’t live up to expectations, I would leave it a while before considering visiting again.More

Great hidden place to eat. Small and quirky setting. Best burger I have had. Highly recommend finding this place. Well worth it.

Good food

Takeaway order. Ordered 2 special burgers and 1 special fries. Inside of the burgers itself were great; very tasty and filling. Not sure on the choice or texture of burger buns though. Felt a bit disappointed with the fries - not because of quality but...paying £7.95 for a not a huge amount more than a handful of chips and mince. Did taste good, just poor quantity. Would have it again still, just not in a rush for it.More

Fantastic Find!

Brilliant food and a fantastic atmosphere. Will definitely be back for more. The burgers was succulent and juicy also had the chilli fries which I can’t recommend highly enough. Budvar on tap as well! Great times!

Number 1 burger restaurant in Bath

What a fabulous lucky find on Trip Advisor. Amazing burgers, I mean seriously amazing burgers, great atmosphere, decor and service in this tiny place. We were super lucky to get in Saturday night I suggest you book or ring we had no idea it was...this small until we got there. This is one of those places you’ll walk out of with a full belly and big smile.More

Will start with the negatives….poor chef keeps being asked is he Stephen Merchant?🤦🏻‍♂️ Positives - Superb as ever! Nothing has changed.
