This was my fourth visit and each time I loved the delicious, well presented food, happy service and reasonably priced wine list. The set lunch and pre theatre meal deal is particularly great value. Has become my favourite place to eat when in Bath. Be sure to book as it is deservedly popular. The fish mains is reliably well cooked... More

Upon arriving in Bath we walked from our hotel to Clayton's kitchen. The food was amazing. There was a small anniversary party next to us and the lady spoke to me and they were all locals and said they loved this place. My daughter and I loved it too!

We sat outside for lunch on Saturday, glorious sunshine. The food was beautifully presented. And very tasty too. Very good value for money. We shall be back again soon.

An extended vacation meant we pretty much ate out for a month and, having done our TripAdvisor research were pretty lucky overall in our selections - a sequence of good restaurants. Clayton's Kitchen was the standout. Excellent menu, food quality, ambience and service. A bit more pricey than cheap & cheerful but given the overall experience excellent value for money.... More

Visited for an 8pm dinner on a Friday evening and was seated very quickly. The seating and tables are a little cramped, but the table next to use vacated very soon after we arrived and remained that way, so it was okay. It was disappointing that 10 minutes after being seated, nobody came to take an order or enquire if... More

We took our son there for Saturday lunch and were suitably impressed. We had two crab starters - superb! I had chicken with a mushroom risotto which was delicious. The men had duck breast with dauphinois potatoes. Also really flavourful. What struck me was the way the kitchen had captured all of the elements of the dish - producing a... More

Visited for a birthday celebration and wasn't disappointed after hearing rave reviews from friends who have been before. Had the pork rillettes to start which was fantastic, served with good bread and apple puree. For main had the beef steak with chips and other little bits. Best bit of steak I've had in ages, cooked perfectly (medium rare) and good... More

It was really, really busy this lunchtime, including outdoors in unexpected sun, so the staff were run off their feet. But they were lovely and still quick. The £15 lunch menu was very good value, properly made, tasty, and plenty.

Overslept then arrived late but they didn't mind at all. Lovely location and services. 10/10. Super helpful and supportive. Wasn't sure what to order for starter, they helped and we enjoyed the choice very much. Great main course also, not the kind of beef I usually want but, nonetheless, the taste was great, unexpected and overall, awesome. The bill came... More
