We chose this restaurant a bit because we walked past it during our visits. What a nice surprise! We had lovely food and the place was big, so we didn't feel like we were eating with the neighbours. That was a very good experience indeed.

The restaurant's size and magnificence takes you by surprise, used to be a ballroom, and still has that grandeur. The staff were superb the first night advised on what was good for each of our palates. The second night, upped the spices somewhat and again the choices were exquisite. The whole ambiance and food and drink could not be faulted,... More

Visited today by chance, during a day trip to Bath with my daughter and her friend. We had the set lunch menu, three courses for £8.95...Not bad!,and the food was lovely,I'm vegetarian, and there was plenty of choice. Service was good, the room outstanding as it was once a ballroom. Definitely would recommend.

Recently went to the Eastern Eye with my girlfriend and we both had a brilliant time. The food was outstanding and the service was superb. I would definitely recommend going to The Eastern Eye if you are in Bath and would like an Indian!

Stayed in Bath for two nights and this restaurant was recommended by the hotel we were staying in. Food was well served and it was one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. We had the vegetable curry and chicken korma with other sides, everything was delicious. Service is also outstanding and staff was really friendly. I... More

Normally I don't write reviews but I felt like this place was worthy of one. The Eastern Eye has to be one of my favourite restaurants, and my favourite Indian full stop. The food is fantastic, the staff are polite and friendly, and the interior is astonishing. I just visited for the 3rd time with some friends of mine, and... More

The food here was nice but the seating was far too crammed for my liking, I felt like I was eating my meal with 2 other couples as the tables were far too close, the staff were quite miserable and the place was very noisy....don't go if you want a nice secluded table, far too bright (lighting) as well. Won't... More

Having left the restaurant we'd originally booked, we stumbled across this place. We were a party of four and were hungry. The chap at the desk suggested a wait of around 25 minutes, so we ordered a bottle of wine and waited by the bar. Eventually, we were shown to a table. The choices on the menu were plenty and... We came here 3 yrs ago for our 1st Wedding Anniversary and decided to return tonight for our 4th. The atmosphere was fab and the food was delicious! Portion sizes were generous, staff friendly and attentive even though the place was busy. We also received a gift at the end of the evening which was most unexpected and a lovely... More
