After much homework on good restaurants for a pre planned visit. Decided that Tilly's was the one! After numerous unanswered phone calls sent an email to say they had sold up and closed in December. Maybe they should put this on their website and on their answerphone?

Finding a good meal away from Christmas parties can be struggle but Tilley's was brilliant. We were warmly welcomed and seated in a cosy small dining room. Deep fried camembert was just right and not too filling. The beef cheek was delicious; deep flavours and beautifully tender. I went for the cheese board which was a bargain as it was... More

Tilleys managed to squeeze us in on a busy Friday evening. The food was excellent and service very good, particularly given how busy they were.

We walked past the restaurant and popped in to see if we could get a table for 2 later. They got us in for 18.45 which meant we could also choose from the early dinner menu The food was fantastic and service excellent we were so glad we went in here. It really is a great restaurant PS I had... More

This is a lovely restaurant and in a great part of Bath. We had a really nice lunch here and we very impressed with both the service and the quality of the food being served. Really friendly staff all dressed up with Christmas ties etc to make you feel in the season spirit. Highly recommend a visit.

This was a lovely experience with my wife, we loved it. Tea cake heaven! There is plenty of choice from food to drinks. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It's a fantastic insight into the past. We loved it and would definitely return... Thanks for having us.

Nice modern French bistro in the centre of Bath, close to the abbey. Good varied menu, we had confit of duck, and slow roasted pork belly, all seven with fresh vegetables, well presented and cooked. Good wine list were you can also purchase a carafe, if a full bottle is not wanted. Good clean decor, tables nicely spaced. Staff all... More

Came here over our anniversary weekend and managed to get a last minute booking at Tilley's. Bath outside was hectic and busy due to the Christmas market, and stepping into Tilley's was bliss. Atmosphere was calm and relaxed and the place was very quaint and cosy after being out in the cold. Had a lovely table downstairs, food was very... More

First visit to this charming Bistro, staff very welcoming. Had booked ahead were given a table near walkway, we asked to change, and as soon as another was available they offered it to us. The food was outstanding, the duck leg was delicious! Only downside was the chairs were not very comfortable. Will definitely go again.

This was our fifth visit (we book every December when staying in Bath for the Christmas Market) and sad to say we were disappointed this year. Previous years there has been a real warm cosy atmosphere in Tilleys with people being turned away as the restaurant was full. This was certainly not the case this year with quite a few... More
