Bath residents know Hudsons serve delicious food, it has always had a great reputation! so we went last night to celebrate my birthday and had a terrific time. We had a warm welcome from Harry behind the bar who was so lovely.. we were off...to a great start!..next was Hannah who showed us to our table upstairs which was next to a roaring fire..super cosy! She was a delight..very bubbly and full of smiles. Later we had the pleasure of meeting Anna, another fantastic member of staff who treated us like old friends and gave great attentive service..wow! what a crew! the food was the consistent standard of excellence Bath peeps have come to expect..the kitchen staff are really talented..all dishes tasted amazing...it was a memorable evening and totally faultless..a huge thanks to everyone at Hudsons who made it happen xMore

Lovely staff, quick service to begin with (before they have to send the order to the kitchen, then a very reasonable wait time); good selection of drinks and the steaks were spectacular. We are big fans of steakhouses but were both quite impressed with this...place. Cosy atmosphere, THE most delicious and perfectly cooked truffle parmesan fries and potato dauphinoise and definitely the herb garlic sauce will be virtually inhaled as it is almost as good as the steaks :))More

Couldn’t be worse staff terrible and is just as good and McDonald’s price is throw the roof and made it so hard to book and re book as we needed to change

The steak here is absolutely amazing. We have been in the UK 3 weeks and this was by far the best we have had. Dessert was amazing also. The service from our waiter was pleasant but not really friendly or welcoming this was the only...thing that dropped it to a 4.More

Excellent! The steaks were amazing, we really enjoyed our evening here. We didn't get starters, just mains and desserts and a couple of drinks, but we didn't feel rushed in any way and service was outstanding. Will definitely be back next time we are in...Bath!More

Will reserve judgement on the Restaurant. Maybe not a good night so will give the benefit of doubt. Starter excellent but Restaurant became busy.

Came here last year with friends and haven’t gotten round to reviewing it yet. I’m going to keep my review short and sweet… AMAZING. I have dined at some of the ‘Top’ steakhouses in the country: Goodmans, Hawksmoor, Maze, Macellaio and this place beats all...of them in every single category. Service good but rushed went early but for a full meal not early bird deal should make a difference ! Sides and the Steak really over seasoned to the point we could not taste the meat for both of us. Not impressed for the price...at all. On the up atmosphere is goodMore

The upstairs dining room was very atmospheric and the service was excellent. Great cocktail and drinks menu. Food was good. This is an expensive place but we enjoyed it for a birthday celebration.

The staff were brilliant and the steaks were just right. If we are ever back in Bath, we will certainly eat here again. Not surprised this place is so highly regarded.

Nice basic venue and atmosphere, We went for our 20th Wedding Anniversary and the staff were lovely. The starter was chicken parfait and very nice. The ribeye steak although aged and medium rare as requested was not tender, my wife does our steak weekly at...home and would put it to shame. the chips were one step up from McDonald's. Price isn't an issue, but quality should be above average, but I suppose quality is a perspective and relatively dependent on your baseline.More
