Really liked the whole experience Friendly staff really relaxed atmosphere- a good local pub and very authentic. Great scrumpy cider - no hangover the next day either. Good central location Can see why my mate likes drinking there I would if I lived in Glastonbury.

Second time at Hawthorns and this time for a late lunch. Had a baked potato with an abundance of filling and plenty side salad. Delicious and kept hunger away until much later on that night. Definitely be back on my next trip to Glastonbury.

I just love eating here. Curries that are just sublimely good unusual, detailed, flavoursome & superb. Always a warm welcome. Sometimes there's music, always good beer. Superbly Chief'd by patron Simon.

Went on a Thursday for their curry buffet night. Welcoming staff and two real ales on the bar. Pappadoms and pickles to start and, on our visit, the curries were Burmese style - one chicken, one fish, one (unbelievably good) beef, one spicy vegetable accompanied...More
