The food was so very English Pub Experience! I loved it. The building was built about the same year that Columbus "discovered" America. IF nothing else, go see the architecture.

This is a one of a kind pub with rooms above. On arrival we had a few drinks with friends and sat in the main bar, i have to say that we found the area to have quite an odd smell and not in a...More

We came in for a snack and ended up having lunch. It's a beautiful buildìng. A delightful step back in time. Looking over the menu and trying to decide what to have when Matt brought over the specials. That made my choice even harder!! So...More

Popped in to grab a beer one night and it was lovely. Full of ridiculous locals arguing about football, cold beer, a friendly bar-tender, and cold beer. A perfect way to spend the evening.

Having previously lived in Glastonbury before we took up a public house, we decided to return to our “old haunt” with friends. We ordered three soft drinks and my husband ordered a pint of Stella Artois. After a couple of sips he said that the...More

Retaining a lot of the features from as early as the 14th century the pub is drenched with archetecture from centuries ago. Simply amazing to look round. WE opted for a taste of Somerset ordering the blue buch cider and another local brand. Both tasted...More

Great food, well cooked, good portions and swift friendly service. Fish and chips were fantastic. We ordered it two nights running. Able to take dogs and children into a small area only so be thoughtful on timings.
