We only came here for drinks but it's a great old place to be in. We always visit this pub when we are here. Next time we may have a meal.

Great if you are into your old pubs, this dates back hundreds of years and feels it when you are in there. It has an odd stone corridor through the middle of it which is a bit awkward to sit in and is a bit...More

Such a shame, as this building has the makings of a great pub , it could do with some serious money throwing at it to clean and tidy up . Beer didn't taste so good.

Popped into the George and Pilgrim for a drink and was pleased that they had a nice beer on although no craft. The whole pub is magnificent and full of history. Dogs are allowed in certain areas which is just great. Will be back!

I was struggling to choose from the Menu- as there were several items which I felt I'd enjoy. We spotted a lady with Fish & Chips- she recommended it- food and service just great.

Been going for a decade for food and drinks, the G&P has recently has really upped its game which is very welcome (as previous visits have often been of mixed quality). Freshened menu, some with a North African influence. Pulled chilli beef special of the...More
