Thanks to all the staff at Finney's who made us welcome on 26 July. Our cycling club decended on Finney's (about 30 of us!). We ordered scrambled eggs on toast and it was just delicious, it came with a lovely salad with basil oil dressing....The quality of the breakfast and the service was superb. Super fast service and we were really looked after. We thank you for the warm welcome and look forward to visiting you again thank you!More

Love stopping off here for a cup of tea or snack. Full English is brilliant last visit they accommodated changes to our breakfast, replacing sausage with more bacon, no quibbles. Quickly made and very tasty.

Walked in to be greeted by a lovely open fire which added a lovely touch and made it feel very warm and homely. Food was superb waitress was nice smiley and very helpful to us both as we couldn't make our mind up what to...have. She recommend the gosh and chips that were on special and they were fantastic both me and my husband were satisfied will definitely be returning.More

I visited on a Sunday afternoon, alone with two young children as we'd been to the Amerton Pottery. Nice relaxed atmosphere, big open fire at one end of the room, nice touch. There was a young lady clearing tables, I asked for a high chair...which she fetch quickly and without fuss. I'd chosen a table near the desk, but the lady serving offered to come to the table to take the order so I didn't have to leave the children. My son (4) chose the millionaire shortbread to share with younger sister, which was lovely, and I was torn between chocolate fudge and red velvet, the lady serving recommended the red velvet and it was delicious (although that meant I had to keep sharing it!) 4-year-old loved his Babychino, complete with chocolate flake and lots of marshmallows, and youngest was given her own flake...nice touch. It's not cheap, and it's not McDonald's but we had a really enjoyable afternoon snack and drink. I'll have to go back with Mrs C as she loves red velvet. Thank you!More

Working as a support worker. Called in for a cuppa. Very expensive. Offer cake and tea £5.95. I had a slice (small) of cake £4.95 Extortionate prices how much make up price on that whole cake. (naughty) . Tea not very hot and my client...said the cake wasn't that good. Will not be returning. Very disappointed used to be a nice place to visit. Nothing to look at inside. Needs a revamp.More

Visited on a Saturday afternoon, the Cafe was not busy but a lot of the tables needed clearing. We ordered drinks and sandwiches which sounded nice on bloomer bread, the afore mentioned arrived and were disappointing as the bread was wafer thin and dry. We...had to get sugar from another table as our pot of sachets was empty but the waitresses were too busy chatting to notice. £20 not well spent we will not be returning.More

We arrived at finneys and were greeted with friendly staff who were very helpful in what we needed they were smiley friendly happy and could tell they enjoyed working there. We had no problems at all. Once seated we noticed a lady approach the manager...regarding a drink being out of stock and they had been given a substitute but the lady was very rude to the manager which I find absolutely awful we then watched her walk into the craft centre come back in with an item and slammed it down on the counter and said your farm shop sells it and stormed off out. All I can say is well done to the girls for handling it so well I can imagine your job is hard enough never mind having to deal with customers like that.More

Had lunch at the tea rooms today. Waited 45 minutes for food. Other customers threatened to leave as waited so long. When food finally arrived one meal was incomplete, the English breakfast was missing half the listed items and we had to ask the waitress...for the rest. A nearby table then asked her for the rest of their food as they were missing items also from the English breakfast. To be fair to the waitress she did bring both tables a second plate and apologised for the wait and the mistakes however we will not be visiting again.More
