A great pub on the canal, ideal for stopping off for lunch. Lovely jacket potatoes and even better chocolate brownies and sticky toffee pudding. The staff were very welcoming and the pub was following all COVID precautions. Thank you for an enjoyable meal.

What a joke! Terrible service, chef too busy to add a side of pepper sauce to a dish. Steak as tough as old boots. Never again....

I can only apologise for the lack of vegan choices at the time of your visit, this was down to unprecedented customer numbers and an unexpected high demand for vegan food. This problem has now been solved. As for the landlady she will be going...More

Our second visit after visiting last year whilst on a narrow boating holiday. The food was presentable, perhaps a little more customer interaction from the lady would have been appreciated.
