Excellent Christmas meal, amazing service and the quality of the food was superb. That was the 2nd time I've eaten there and wouldn't hesitate to return at any time.

Situated in central Stafford the brassiere can be found inside the swan, which is a lovely old building. The food options were good and the quality of the food is great. The slight issue here is with the service. We ordered a round of drinks at the start and mine didn't come. We had to ask for the drink! The... More

We wanted a place to have a drink with friends before eating. This place was perfect. Good choice of real ales. Superb number of gins. Food was very good, well served in nice surroundings.

Came here for lunch so was very busy, just about managed to grab a table. It was meant to be a table for 2 but we added another chair, wasn't the smartest idea as people walking past had to dodge us. Food was lovely. Got told it was a 30 minute wait but food came out within 20 minutes of... More

There was a family of 8 of us for New Years Day ranging from a 7yr old to a lady celebrating her 80th birthday. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The service was timed perfectly -not rushing but not keeping us waiting either - very attentive. The food was perfect. We all had a wide variety of the food... More

Simply called in for coffee and a snack. Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the quality of the coffee and cakes and toasted teacakes. Very pleasant service too. Cosy and relaxed and we did linger for quite some time. Lovely position sitting in the window watching the world go by. Will be back.

Pleasant old inn, but the service was amateurish. Too many waitresses stepping on each other's toes. Neither of our two main dishes were properly hot, and the sticky toffee pudding definitely not sticky enough. Decent wine by the glass at reasonable prices.
