Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful from start to finish from the commination I received prebooking, the ease of booking online, to walking into the cafe itself and being amazed, to the friendly and efficient staff, to the great food and drinks. Can’t wait to go back 😊

Best location for locals and tourists. Nice coffee. Sadly there isn’t much space outside for more then two tables. Big choice for breakfast and lunch.

Visited here at the weekend and what a fab place, the quality & quantity of the afternoon tea is amazing and reasonably priced too. The decor is great, lots to look at and loads of photo opportunities. You get to pick your choice of sandwiches...on arrival plus a cake of choice then there are a vast selection of cakes on the stand, all very nice, beautifully presented. Don't be put off by the area, Stoke has definitely gone downhill over the last decade but this place is definitely worth a visit. The cakes are all delicious, all handmade at the venue. Staff are very friendly and helpful, offering replenished drinks. We were speaking to the owner and he said that walk ins are welcome so will definitely try to pop in on the off chance for a little treat. We were able to take home the cakes that we couldn't finish at the afternoon tea.More

Once again another fabulous Afternoon Tea at the Rabbit Hole! The staff are wonderfully helpful and kind and the food is plentiful and delicious. We ordered the Afternoon Tea which is a perfect mix of both sweet and savoury treats and also a Savoury Afternoon...Tea which is amazing for those without a sweet tooth. We enjoyed every bite! The decor inside is perfectly magical and whimsical, transporting you to a fairytale. Every time we have had the pleasure of dining here it gets better and better. I would also like to add that the price is amazing considering the amount of treats you receive! Thank you for a very enjoyable time and we hope to be joining you again very soon!More

In the heart of Stoke-On-Trent is this beautiful encharting fantasy tea room, with an Alice in Wonderland theme. The Afternoon tea was prob the best I have had nothing too much trouble. You choose your own sandwiches and plenty of tea in large tea pots....The couple who own it were very nice to talk to. Highly recommend.More

What a wonderful experience with beautiful food. We opted for the Afternoon Tea with a pot of Cheshire Tea and a pot of Lapsang Souchong. Sandwiches were tasty, scones were unbelievably fresh and cakes (which were had to bring away with us as we’d had...a sufficiency) were gorgeous. The welcome was lovely through the key hole shaped doorway. Seated quickly and comfortably. Service was second to none and all staff very friendly. Decor is phenomenal and must only be seen to appreciate it - If you love good food, a hospitable environment and lovely staff, this is the place to be. We will be returning for the savoury option in the very near future. Thanks everyone!More

The price is per person. There is plenty of food, we couldn't finish it all and brought the leftovers home with us. You would have to ask the restaurant when you book if you can share. I really can't say.
