Very good location and friendly staff. The food is freshly prepared and good value. We use Choppings Hill quite a lot.

Nice coffee and drake here, clean and tidy with quick service. I always have the same old Americano and millionaires shortbread so what can go wrong?

Just stopped by for tea and a latte, both of which were excellent. Free WiFi. Good vibe. Brilliant toilet!

We popped in here for breakfast on a recent visit to the area and we were both really pleased. My partner had the cooked breakfast which he said was the best of our visit. I had a croissant and toast; I was disappointed that the croissant wasn't warm and that for a "cafe and bakery" the bread was clearly shop... More

This little cafe is perfect for a quick snack . We asked for a large chocolate , bit disappointed as I didn't consider it as large and it turns up in a cup with no handle , bit hard to drink as pipping hot . Very accommodating as we asked for something that wasn't on the menu which the young... More

The coffees were fine and the service from the woman at the tills was good. The food, however, was not. The service left a lot to be desired. We ordered soup which was watered down and poorly seasoned and a bacon and brie panini which came to the table freezing cold in the middle. When staff were kindly asked to... More

I stayed in Aldeburgh for a week and had brunch here twice - both visits were excellent. Very friendly and appropriately chatty staff, and lovely to have somewhere so good within walking distance. I"m a horrible coffee snob, and I was happy!

Basically, this is a coffee house with some food. It's a great meeting place, with comfortable seats for a couple and tables with chairs for others. Greeted by an enthusiastic chap, who is full of the joys of life - with sensitivity in abundance.

Really friendly staff, fresh smoked salmon for breakfast and interesting flora tea, which caused lots of conversations with other dinners.

Wanted take away sandwiches and picked up two from here, cheese salad and beef salad in the brown sealed bags. The sandwiches, due to bad weather sat in the car all day but when we ate them they were still very fresh due to the packing and extremely tasty. Also very good price at under £3.00 each so cheaper than... More
