I've lost count of the amount of times I've returned to Pea Porridge and I'll keep doing so, because their food and service are simply outstanding. On this occasion I took six friends, some who had been before and some who hadn't and they all...More

I have been aware of this restaurant for some time, but this was our first visit. Warm, welcoming environment and service. Fascinating menu! After reading reviews on here I decided I needed to be adventurous, so not surprising that some choices suited me better than...More

My partner and I had lunch here today. The menu was really interesting with dishes that I hadn’t tried before. Our hostess was amazing. We can see why this restaurant hits the national best places to eat on a regular basis. For my main I...More

This is a great restaurant, staff attentive, nice cosy atmosphere for a winter's evening. Delicious food, we had calves brains followed by the Boar special, which was thoroughly winter warming. Would happily go again and again, something different from the usual so worth a go.
