Carrot cake top of its class. Had lovely cake and coffee. The front of the Patisserie was fantastic with beautifully presented cakes on view.

The Cake is just to tempting in this place. We needed a cup of tea and a cake seemed like a good idea. We had a piece each ... and we should have just shared one. We felt so guilty eating this much cake, it is Lent after all. We felt St Edmund was turning in his grave while we... More

Terrible service. Sat for 10 minutes before being served and that was only because I pointedly got the waitresses attention! And it wasn't even busy. Nearly walked out. Only ordered a tea in the end which is a shame as it used to be really good.

As you walk passed the window you do well to stop yourself from going inside and sample at least one of the mouthwatering cakes on offer

Popped in for a spot of lunch with my mum. Was absolutely fantastic, I had just a hot chocolate with cream, which was lovely and rich and creamy. Mother had a cheese and tomato toasties which she assumes me was lovely and came with a very generous portion of salad. Staff were fantastic attentive and friendly and would deffinatly recommend... My daughter treated me to this as a Christmas present, and what a treat ! We parked 5 minutes' walk away behind the brewery to avoid Bury's scandalous parking charges and walked to the cafe. A completely relaxed way to spend an hour - all time and stress suspended ! 5 x 2 sandwiches, 4 scones with cream and choice... More

Popped to Bury for a spot of Christmas shopping and stopped of for a coffee and cake. Before entering we chose our cakes from the window. On sitting down we were confronted with 8 menus on the table all with different offerings, which was a bit confusing. When ordering we had to return back to the window to confirm our... More

We visited the tea room for a pre-booked afternoon tea. When booked online over a month prior we were given the option to choose either the traditional afternoon tea or the festive as we had booked for December. We opted for the traditional as it better suited our tastes. So we went along as booked (knowing how much the afternoon... More

I stopped by on a Saturday for a coffee and cake but decided on a full English breakfast. As I'm quite fussy about my eggs I asked the waitress, who was very pleasant, ' are the scrambled eggs still quite gooey as I don't like them over cooked', 'Oh yes' came the reply. When the breakfast arrived I can honestly... More

Wonderful pastries. In fact can't be bettered. However poor table discipline. Often piled high with dirty crockery. Have been to a lot better run branches
