Thanks to everyone for a lovely time at our get together last night - everything went right, from the waiting staff (who looked pleased to see us - how many restaurants get that wrong!) to the lovely food & drink, and the atmosphere. We all...More

Lunchtime tapas was pleasant enough with a wide variety to choose from, however I did find it strange that a place called house of the sea only had a few seafood choices, and when I glanced at the main menu there was only the one,...More

We had heard good things about this place. We came for lunch one afternoon and it was alright. It just wasn't anything special. The food certainly wasn't bad but there's so many other cafes in Bury that are really good.

Basically the service was good, attentive in a relaxed way. Food was good, house wine reasonably/maybe a bit over priced. Conservatory very loud and used as a walk through for smokers. We would go back.More

Thanks for your comments - it is a learning curve as you can imagine - inhabiting a new space. On the back of your comments we are looking at the layout in the conservatory to the corridor/toilets. This should alleviate the problem - however there...More

The tapas here is great for sharing, with a very good selectio9n for meat eaters and vegetarians alike - and the ice creams are brilliant, and I'm not a great ice cream lover. The one criticism I have is the price of my favourite beer,...More

Hi We are aware that we are not able to be competitive on the Ghost Ship and now we have draught ale we will be phasing it out. I understand the temptation to compare & until I worked in hospitality I was blissfully unaware of...More

We visited as a small group and were sat at a table in a space where a large group were having a party. The noise made it impossible for us to have a conversation - one of the key points of meeting up with friends....More

Many thanks for taking the time to review. It is almost impossible to get a balance right with bustle v dull. I do know that the noise levels in here are easier to manage as the ceilings are lower - all other furnishings are the...More

Went to the newly relocated Casa del Mar for lunch with my husband today and had an amazing lunch on the terrace. Great fresh food, wine in a carafe which makes you think of the continent and the sun was shining. Great to see an...More

Hi Chris Sorry you had such a disappointing visit - we have now moved to new premises. We have taken our gazebos, fairylights & artwork with us. I wish the transport cafes I'd visited were of this calibre! Maria
