Lovely old place doing lovely, homemade cakes. Tea comes in a proper pot and you use China cups and saucers. Lots of nick nacks and pictures to buy. Ideal for those who want to experience the olde worlde. Prices weren't cheap but not too expensive for a tourist village.

My wife and two children looked forward to having tea for 4. We entered the team room and asked for a table which we were told we could have although they had a group booked. As we only wanted tea for 4 this was fine. Our order was taken by the waitress and we waited for our drinks. Unbelievably the... More

Called in late afternoon in Mid-February and was greeted with the wonderful aroma of freshly baked scones. On the way in we had decided that eating anything would spoil our evening meal and that we only required a cup of tea. But that smell was intoxicating. 'Good evening' said the waitress, 'Cream teas for four' I replied. Not a word... More

Called in for a cream tea whilst staying in the town and were pleased with what we found; a room packed with tables, happy customers, staff rushed but helpful and friendly, pictures, etc.etc The tea and scones were worth the visit without the fun which was a bonus.

We (4 adults) stopped in this quaint & somewhat eccentric tea rooms & had the most beautiful cakes & cheese scones which we couldn't fault in any way. The tea however was a different story. One of our party requested a lemon & ginger tea & was given a teapot containing 2 teabags, one orange & one orange & lemon!... More

Had a delicious afternoon tea in this beautiful quaint little tea room in Lavenham High Street. Fine china cups and saucers, scones were wonderful, what better way to sit back and relax! Very friendly staff - a lovely little gem to be treasured. Will definitely be going back.

We called in on a very cold day and enjoyed a wonderful, organic hot chocolate. The shop sells a good range of paintings and gifts.

Loveliest afternoon tea we've had. Amazing, generously filled sandwiches, the best scones we've had and tea refills. All served in a super friendly way. Munnings could not have been more accommodating of our dietary needs and we will very certainly be back. Thanks

Great place for lunch or just tea/coffee and cake we did both on the same day. Friendly staff and a great function room upstairs. Wish we lived closer.
