We went for New Years Eve and the food , service, entertainment etc was really good, this is our 2nd NYE in this pub, having a 3 course meal and plenty to drink, would highly recommend
Had lunch 28/1/18. Good service and atmosphere though nowhere to park except in pay car park. Good beer,coffee,desert,roast potatoes very good,other veg ok,Yorkshire pud heroically large,rib of beef poor value(£14 main course) as half was fat and inedible.

Excellent food - the fish and chips was best ever according to my husband who is an authority. He also said that the Green King IPA beer was great. I enjoyed the beetroot and pumpkin seed falafel and the Sauvignon Blanc. Definitely recommended!
