Haven't been to The New Inn for a while so decided to try it out once again. Staff were pleasant, service was prompt and there was plenty of food on the plate. Will definitely return again soon.

Nipped out for lunch with a friend. Very friendly pub, great staff, yummy food and a fantastic real fire. Nearly didn't go back to work! :)

In the summer you can sit outside by the river and great for dog walkers as you can have your dog with you outside (they also have water bowls for them to drink) The food is very nice and the chips are lovely, although it is overpriced a bit as you could pay less in another pub and get the... We stopped here with some friends after Ripley bonfire for a quick bite to eat and were pleasantly surprised. Food was tasty and portions were generously proportioned whilst being well priced. Only reason that I'm not giving 5 stars is that bar staff were pretty disinterested in anyone other than regulars which meant we had to chase for drinks. This... More

Meal was overpriced and awful. Roast dinner was cold and veg and potatoes undercooked. Fajitas were a tiny portion for £16. Kids menu is pure junk.

The car park is very small so can be very busy. There is a length of residential road to park on but a fair walking distance may be required. If you like a walk the adjacent Wey navigation is a very pleasant amble with some interest. With locks and boats to look at. The sunday roast portions were enormous.

Travelling on the Wey in a narrow boat. The Wey has limited places to moor but there is room for 4 or 5 boats outside the New Inn. There is a "corner shop" within a mile along the main road for all the basics. The pub provided good peer and good pub food but very poor wine. The previous review... More

Came here on the Wey Navigation and saw it's garden on a Saturday evening,it was heaving. Stopped off on the way back for Tuesday Lunch. Had the Chicken and Mushroom Pie, fabulous, I'd have again tomorrow. Wife had Ham Eggs and Chips. 10 x better than at other pubs we've stopped at for lunch / dinner.

We have been going here on and off for 7-8 years mainly because the food is actually always pretty good. It arrives quickly, is hot and generally really tasty. When eating out this is obviously important but it's not always about just that. Sadly the quality of some of the staff leaves a lot to be desired, for example we... More

Staff are friendly, beer is kept well and we have eaten here many times as we walk the dogs along the river and it has always been a very welcoming rest spot. Today we had lunch there and the food was poor. I had a sausage sandwich where you had to hunt for any meat, my wife had a cheese... More
