Set in a gorgeous setting and great location for walkers our expectations were high. The restaurant was full and there were plenty of diners outside too. But oh how we were disappointed. We ordered from the main menu. The starters of soup of the day...More

Went for Sunday lunch as a family and was looking forward to it as had eaten light bites here previously and was impressed before. Unfortunately I would say the food was pretty average. It was nice enough but some of the roast potatoes were hardly...More

We have visited Stephan Langton over the years and decided to pay a Saturday night visit. The food was excellent and the service friendly. We will be visiting again soon. Good choice of food with spotless premises.

Had a fabulous catch up with a friend of mine here - delicious lunch and lovely ales on tap. Staff were friendly and efficient and kept us well looked after throughout our (very!) leisurely lunch. The pub and surrounds are gorgeous.

Had lunch yesterday; starters -'Garlic whole Prawns' - no garlic taste at all, 'Arancini Balls" - mush with no flavour, over embellished with chopped onions and tomatoes. Two 'Archbishop pies' - dry and dull, 'sausage and mash' - three dark brown overcooked sausages, 'chicken milanese'...More

Have been here many times, it is one of a handful of Surrey Hills pubs that does consistently good food. Gets busy in the weekend so be sure to book. Set in a lovely secluded location - not a hint of traffic nearby and good...More

Visited the Stephan Langton for a meal with our friends. This pub is well hidden and off the beaten track but it is always quite busy. The food was very good and the service excellent. We originally sat outside as it was yet again a...More
