Sat outside in the garden....sort of Beer Garden!!....had a crab / prawn sandwich...bit small if u ask me...Friend had lasagna...a slither of a strip....Over priced..and half a meal!...come on guys....a little bit more for the money we are paying would be nice! Apart from that..lovely...More

The Good Intent Public House is located in Puttenham, Surrey, on the pilgrims way between Guildford and Farnham, near the villages of, Wanborough, Shackleford and Compton.The Good intent is a popular pub with Puttenham locals, being both child-friendly and dog-friendly and is also popular with the many visitors that travel to the area, to visit local landmarks and enjoy many of the fine walks and bike rides in the Surrey countryside. The good intent features a large inglenook fire place, wood beams through out making the Good Intent a really nice and cosy place to eat, drink or just hangout with your friends and family.Please note: Although we are a 'Child friendly pub', due to the nature of the building it's self we don't have facilities for infants. Please bear in mind that we are a traditional pub that serves Pub food, not a restaurant or a gastro pub and that the Good Intent is a pub that's still a pub and more of an adult environment, all children must be accompanied by responsible adult(s). Friendly and socialized dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Uncontrollable/unbehaved dogs or children will be asked to leave.
