Used to go to the Red Lion when living locally a fair while ago and at that time it was a friendly local village pub that offered lovingly prepared food. Oh how it's changed. Gone is the quality food, replaced with fried and microwaved rubbish....More

Not only did the pub have a very pretty garden, tasty Sunday lunch and wonderful staff, the owner saved the day by very kindly giving me two kirby grips to pin my hair for the rest of our hike. Absolute life saver - thank you!!

Great for either just a drink or drinks plus some good pub food. They serve great beer (London Pride, ESB and guest beers) and the menu has some interesting things on it as well as some classics. My fish and chips were lovely. Sit out...More

We were travelling from Epping to Midhurst and stopped here for lunch. I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive after some reviews, but any fears were soon allayed. A warm welcome, good selection of ales and great choice of food. I had...More
