My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday. We were sat upstairs in a booth. The waitress was called Rachel I think. She was lovely. Nothing was a problem for her and she was lovely to us during our time here. Our meal was beautiful. Would definitely recommend and would visit again

This has been one of the best customer service experiences in a city restaurant for a very long time... Martyn & Monica our waiting staff were amazing, friendly, chatty, knowledgeable about the food, wine & music!! My hubby & I shared Calamari & Meatballs to start, followed by Lobster & Prawn Spaghetti & Seafood Linguini... it was absolutely delicious!! All... More

I visited here with colleagues on a Monday evening. The location along the waterfront made for a nice walk to the restaurant. There is an extensive menu with Italian options and there are more than enough wines to choose from as well. The food was good, the staff friendly and the overall experience was enjoyable.

Came here is it wad recommended by our hotel and we weren't disappointed. Well located right next to the millennium bridge and really nice place. We were served by Dale who was great - very attentive. Food was delicious and good wine selection. Would definitely return when we come back to Newcastle.

Visited a couple of weekends ago as a party of four. We had requested to sit upstairs and had great view of the lights on the bridge and Sage. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. We enjoyed seafood spaghetti, mushroom risotto, Gusto burger and a pizza. All cooked fresh. I am in the process of booking... More

This is the second time that we've eaten at Gusto, as infrequent visitors from the south. Both times we have been impressed with the ambience and atmosphere. The staff were really welcoming and helpful and the food good and great value. This time I had a saltimbocca which was excellent, right size portion and delicious. Highly recommended!

Enjoyable meal with quality service and food. Must mention the bar person who served us when we arrived while waiting for our table. Made a great cosmopolitan and made us feel very welcome without being overly friendly.

i ordered dinner from gusto via deliveroo and it was not worth the amount i spent. my seafood spaghetti had no flavour with rubbery seafood, carbonara was under cooked, lacked sauce and was like a microwaved meal. finally i had a rosemary and sea salt pizza bread that was so overly salty i could only eat the crusts and that... Description
As if the Gateshead Millennium Bridge and the Baltic Art Gallery weren't enough reason to visit Newcastle's Quayside, there is also Gusto. Make the most of those sunshine days on the beautiful terrace, and when the evening (or the clouds) draw in, step inside the large, lively bar - with a superb choice of wines and cocktails. Add a 200-year-old olive tree, sprinkled in fairy lights, and Gusto Newcastle makes any day magical.
