Just had a great time as i wanted to rani for christmas eve and staff was great and food was amazing . The atmosphere was full of energy and vibe of christmas as even staff was wearing elf stuff and great time and lovely talk.... Must visit the place this christmas with your family and friends.More

We ate foot here on saturday night, we come from India and this is the closest to home taste we have had. Great portions and the the Gulab Jamuns deserve an applause.

Ordered a Chicken Tikka for my main dish Unfortunately there was only 3 pieces of chicken in the dish with 4 pieces of potato in the curry! However did mention afterwards to the server who kindly offered to speak to the chef and get me...extra 2/3 pieces of chicken but I’d already finished the dish. Really not sure what I'm missing here. Came with my son and went by trip advisor reviews. We both had chicken dishes, his had six pieces of chicken, mine had five. To me that is simply not enough for a curry dish. Was the curry...sauce nice? It was ok but I may have been put off by the five pieces of chicken. We had three drinks, two meals and £70 and 30 mins later were back on the street. As I say, judging by the other reviews we must have missed something but I really can't see whatMore

Visited Rani indian restaurant on Tuesday 14th November. We're 15 minutes late arriving due to transport problem but rang to advise. When we arrived restaurant was busy and were shown to a table in the back part of restaurant. Only one other table occupied and...room felt cold . Asked for heating and small heater put on which helped but still cool overall. The service from Mia the waitress was very good and made for a pleasant experience. The food was excellent with generous portions and enjoyed by all 4 of us. Will definitely return.More

Saturday i took my staff for a meal 2 of the meals were not nice the starters were fine, but the 2 main courses were disgusting 1 a chicken was so tuff and 1 a tiger prawn dish which was so spicy hot i just...could not eat it we complained and the 2 dishes were removed from the bill we were not offered another meal to replace them so we did leave the restaurant a bit hungry i spoke to the manager again when i was leaving but he didn't seem to care just said i will speak to the kitchen it was a very disappointed nightMore
