We have just had our early works Christmas night here. We hired the rose garden room down stairs with food and drinks tokens as part of our package. Alice dealt with our planning from start to finish and was extremely helpful to fulfil all of...our requests for the evening! All the staff were incredible on the night, the two lads behind the bar, worked their socks off to make sure we were all well hydrated all evening :) Hats off to the chef the food was unreal! For a big group of 85 of us we had a ball of a night! Also this venue is absolutely beautiful! Thank you all again for your hard work on allowing us to have such a great night!More

Wonderful Afternoon Tea for 13 friends. Gorgeous food, beautifully presented. Clearly the vegetarian and vegan options weren’t afterthoughts and the majority of us chose them as they sounded (and proved to be) delicious. The decor was also beautiful. We all agreed that we would return...for the excellent friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. A great experience all round.More

Went for lunch today with my mam and my young daughter when we first went in my daughter didn’t want to sit still while we waited for our food, our waitress Chelsea was amazing! She brought out a star toy for my daughter and even...took us down to a function room with a tree and turned on the fairy lights which my daughter loved! Food was lovely but our experience felt so personal and nothing was a bother! We will definitely return and recommendMore

We pre ordered our food due to a few in our party having severe intolerances. The chef contacted us to recommend a better option for one of our parties after we'd sent off the order form. On the night our seats were ready the good...came out together and all were very happy with the presentation, size and taste of the food. The bar and restaurant are decorated lovely and the service was good despite it being a cold Saturday evening. We couldn't fault our visit and would highly recommended.More

As someone else said: don’t bother with the afternoon tea. The sandwiches were small, desserts were tiny and only got served alcoholic Prosecco, albeit requesting for it to be non-alcoholic, also didn’t get the tea pot. Attendant was rude about changes from some of the...desserts saying “menu always changes” - which highly doubt they changed in the span of a week of verifying online. Regardless: expensive and not up to par.More

Really poor service. We were told that we could not have a hot drink and an alcoholic drink. Explained that we would pay separately. Sandwiches were minuscule , pre made and dry. Tiny macaroon, very small scone and a cake which was tiny. Very small...potion, very poorly served and incredibly poor service as we had to call them to get a drink. Won’t be returning. Much better places to go for afternoon tea in Newcastle .More

The room downstairs is lovely but the organisational skills of the kitchen left a lot to be desired. Chips were delivered to one person way after the main meal was finished and the desserts were served 40+ minutes after the main meal. The food was...mediocre nothing worth the price. Too many other eateries to choose from so wouldn't go back. One bar staff member abusive about customer after getting drinks but other customers overheard the abuse and made a complaint.More

Well we wanted a spectacular place to hold our engagement party and this was certainly the right place. We recently held a networking event at Leila Lily's and the venue is absolutely stunning! Alice and the team at Leila Lily's are great and made sure ourselves and our guests had everything we needed. We definitely plan on visiting again soon!

Recently attended a great business event downstairs at Leila Lily's. The venue itself is very impressive, the staff were attentive and Alice was a great host. Will definitely be back.
