Went on last Saturday night at 5pm before a visit to the theatre. What a great place !! We shared the antipasto board with some garlic bread which was more than sufficient as a starter for the four of us. The carbonara , cannelloni ,...More

We have visited this restaurant a number of times and it never disappoints! Fresh prawn skewers and huge succulent olives to start followed by two authentic fresh pizzas! Service is attentive and polite but not overly pushy. We didn't have room for dessert but the...More

Wonderful food, fantastic atmosphere, and fairly inexpensive place, the server was really helpful and friendly. Just what the doctor ordered on a wet and wild Friday night. Can't wait till my next visit

Mascalzone "a taste of Sardegna" is known for their pizza and its absolutely delicious. Quality ham, cheese, bread, olives, the whole thing, and the fish I ordered was also fresh and well seasoned. Small restaurant, with very good outdoor seating, and menu.

Visited with family based on reviews on TripAdvisor, and had an absolutely fantastic lunch at Mascalzone. From start to finish the food was exceptional, with my Sea Bass special the star of the show. Even the 'basic' Italian dishes that you can get everywhere had...More

I think most of the staff are Italian, so i'd guess the chef is! As for child friendly, the restaurant is quite small so maybe more appropriate for older children rather than younger. Such a lovely restaurant though!
