Popped in for a late lunch after seeing a film here. Service was friendly and very prompt . We both had toasted sandwiches- mine was halloumi and portobello mushrooms. Very generous amount of filling , delicious sourdough bread and side salad. Highly recommend.

Visited on spec as group of 6 for a quick brunch. No one approached us as we entered so you left to find a place, comprehend how to order and generally try to get service. Food was ok, but overall not to the standards or...More

Having booked tickets in the cinema, we had a coffee here. Nice area which can be changed into a stage/bar. Pleasant welcoming staff. Large windows to "People Watch" onto Northumberland Street.

We went to eat here before seeing a film at the wonderful Tyneside Cinema. The restaurant was very busy but we were very well looked after by friendly staff and enjoyed a tasty meal.

I spend a lot of time (and money) in this place. It's been a bit hitty-missy with the table service... do they or don't they? Sometimes it's like the staff don't even know if they should ask what you want. However, I've been in a...More

Normally love this place. Had the veggie option on the Christmas Menu. Looked good, Butternut Squash stuffed with Walnuts Cranberries and Wild Rice with Brussels Sprouts. I had to look at the menu to remind myself what was meant to be in it. I did...More

Nice atmosphere, this is the only good thing I have to say about this place. We had been there before and everything went smoothly but now I have to give it a low rate because of the rudeness of the waiters. They are supposed to...More
