Visited on Thursday evening before heading to Hoochie Coochie. It was two of us and we were seated by the bar but they kindly moved us to a booth when some people left. 2 cocktails for £10 👍We both had the spicy Thai fish cakes to start (homemade and a decent portion size) then I had a pizza and my... My partner and I finally got around to visiting this restaurant last night with two friends and were not disappointed. The music playing was good, a bit of Northern Soul which was great. The service and food was excellent. We had starters of liver, mussels and spicy fish cake followed by scallops, excellent risotto and steak. Overall good food although... More

We went here on a recommendation from a friend, having eaten in so many places in Newcastle over the years we were surprised we hadn't heard of Paradiso before. What a pleasant surprise we got, the meal was excellent, the staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. This really is a hidden gem of a place and fantastic... More

We visited paradiso for an early valentines dinner and as a way of going somewhere new - we are both very busy and don't often get the opportunity to go on dates. I chose the restaurant because of its fantastic reviews and was looking forward to it. When we got there we were sat on a table in the middle... More

Had a great night here between Xmas and New Year. Always great food and service from Giuseppe and his team. Seafood linguine is just amazing and the mussels to start were fantastic too. Prices are very reasonable and good value. One of our favourites and we are never disappointed.

What an absolute diamond of a restaurant. Delicious food at an absolute fantastic price. Our group was made to feel welcome and the waiter even went to the local supermarket to get strawberries for our prosecco! My birthday cake surprise was a lovely touch too. We will be back and often hopefully. Thank you 😊

Visited today and we at from the specials menu which is fantastic value at £9.95 for two courses. The food and service here are of a consistently high standard. Description
Paradiso Newcastle - NORTH EAST RESTAURANT OF THE YEAR 2016 As voted by the Food Awards England. One of those restaurants you'll discover by word of mouth rather than by walking past. Tucked away down Market Lane, Paradiso is a hidden treasure. The restaurant is split into three main floors. The first floor, which is also the main seating floor seats up to 60, has a bar and a spacious outdoor terrace for alfresco dining. The second floor contains the open-plan kitchen and another seating area, which is able to seat up to 50. This floor is smaller than the first floor, but is still capable of holding large parties with ease, and again, we can accommodate parties of any size and number. If you require more privacy, our third floor is a private dining room which can seat up to 45. As this room features skylights, it is a bright, warm space and is spacious enough to be used for any kind of event, such as dining, presentations and so on.
