We are regulars here, since way back when the Sardinian brothers first opened this unique venue. No pizzas but great Italian food. We were there for lunch and the panini 24 November is one of my favourites - spicy sausage with tomato and cheese - delicious and yummy! Seek this place out and let the friendly staff serve you some... More

Had a good time here. The food was excellent. Service very friendly. I have been travelling on a budget so it was nice to have somewhere to eat out that was cheap. I recommend for anyone who is looking for great italian food at at good price.

My partner and I with two friends visited this great restaurant for an evening meal last night. We are regular lunchtime visitors and had not visited at night for a while. It's a coffee shop by day and restaurant by night. At 5.30 the place was nearly full. The food is slightly different from most Italians as it is Sicilian.... More

Not bad. Small little place tucked up an ally. Good food at really cheap prices. Service could of been better. But it's the UK so what do you expect.

Me and my boyfriend visited this lovely place on Thursday for my birthday dinner. We shared the antipasto sardo and the tagliolini with king prawns and bottarga and then we had the lamb off the specials and the rib-eye steak, all accompanied by a bottle of Tanca Farra, an amazing Sardinian red. The food was to die for and the... More

This was a great dinner . It felt like the restaurant was run by an italian family. Started iff with the mussels in white wine a delicious dish , then continued with the Malloreddus con Pani’s Ragu` a sort of wild meat rau with borlotti beans. A favourite in Newcastle.

As per previous visits, there was a queue to the outer door. However after a 5 minute wait we were given a great table. Prompt drink service. There's a great range of starters and a gluten free option for the pasta dishes. Eating gluten - and dairy free - is really difficult in many restaurants but Pani's was fantastic (again)... More
