Went in here for a drink as we were staying just around the corner at the indigo hotel. Quite busy with decent atmosphere and staff were friendly enough.

This place was busy but there were still seats left. There were busy runs at the bar, but the staff were quick enough to serve. Will definitely be back.

After taking part in a choir performance at the Sage Gateshead I met up with some friends in the Head of Steam, and had some great beers. Well worth a visit.

Tip top bar similar to the one in Durham. A cosy venue with an array of real ales. We loved it in here. You will find it directly opposite the rail station.

This place is great, upstairs is a nice cosy warm pub with decent selection of drinks and a nice crowd on a late night. Downstairs they put on music and bands and the like, so that's a nice space. Never any trouble here, class location
