Excellent place for top quality food a d service with very professional staff. Shame whole evening spoilt by a very obnoxious and abusive customer in a wheelchair shouting abuse at a young waiter who very professionally said nothing but ma agement should have been there...to ban him from ever coming again. im sure establishments get the odd complaining moany customer but this was next level stuff and i would protect a d support my staff from accepting this level of abuse from anyone paying customer or not.More

What a lovely meal. Scallops followed by aubergine curry for me and fish pie for him. We eat out a lot and enjoy fine dining. The food here was up among some of the nicest we have had in a long time. Shame its 200...miles from home otherwise we would be there a lot! Thank you to all the staff and compliments to the chef.More

We had a great lunch here and enjoyed the outside tables with a beautiful river view. I had the plant based chicken burger, which was surprisingly nice and filling. The service was exceptional.

Superb lunch yesterday. Quality of food, wine and service was exemplary as always - The Bridge was the perfect choice in every way for our celebration; dining here feels special - more so than eating in a pub however, it’s FANTASTIC value with an interesting...and varied menu to suit all tastes and budgets. We arrived in a narrowboat, looking forward to booking for a special meal. Walking round to the garden we were rudely apprehended by an older waitress who asked if she could help in a less than welcoming manner. It felt more like an interrogation than...a welcome. We were then curtly reminded that any idea of eating with them would need to be booked and she departed. So did we.More

Super location. Food was 5* The steak was superb as were ALL the accompaniments. Lots of pepper sauce not the usual 'titchy' amount. My wife's salmon was also lovely..but served with olives with stones in?

On a rare date night, daughter dropped at grandparents, we picked a local eatery and really pleased with that choice. We had a delightful table by the window looking out over the river. We chose some small plates, a couple of starters and dessert. The...chorizo, ham hock and wings particularly were lovely. After slight initial disappointment that no real ale was available, I had a bottle of 'Othello' from Shakespeare Brewery which is a fabulous ruby ale. Really worth trying. Now, I am a cheesecake purest. It does not need to be mucked about with. However, I was curious about roasted banana cheesecake, and it was ace!! Our evening was supported wonderfully well Daniele, who was a delight to have as our waitress. (Owners, she is a credit to your business!!) All in all a thoroughly enjoyable evening.More

Certainly one of the best restaurants in the region. The food is properly cooked on site, care taken on presentation, attentive polite friendly staff, great atmosphere, what more could you wish for.

Lovely setting overlooking the River. We had the monkfish fritters for starters, really tasty. My husband had the seabass as a main course, generous portion, everything was beautifully cooked, downside was the amount of bones.
