We did this restaurant on a Groupon - it was excellent! The waiter was lovely and very helpful and the food was absolutely delicious- can’t fault the portion sizes and the food was incredibly tasty with just the right amount I’d spice. Definitely recommend!

Never been to Warwickshire so when we got hungry did a google found this place and I would definitely return again. The starter was delicious a mince/ spiced bread combination with salad and my main with okra was fantastic with a yogurt rice and spicy...pork amazing slow burn heat spicy flavours so so nice …. I bought the Groupon deal for my mum for Mother’s Day. The first reservation in April was cancelled, they rang & told me they had a private party so I rearranged for this evening at 6pm. My mum and her partner arrived at 5.30pm to...be told they had a private function but could come back at 8.30pm! … Really??? I had no correspondence from them at all about this despite them telling my mum they had emailed me! I have checked my spam etc & have nothing! Needless to say I am requesting a refund. The disappointing thing is my mum said the man at the restaurant didn’t seem bothered at all. Hence why I am writing this now. So thanks for disappointing my mum again & you rubbish communication, I hope Groupon remove you.More

Just had what has to be the best value meal. 2 courses glass of wine for 2 for £19. It's a groupon deal but better booking it direct. First class service great food 5 stars all the way.

My first time leaving a review but for good reason! I would be surprised if our meal was cooked by a chef, a strange combination of under cooked, over cooked, and just odd combinations of ingredients. Sadly now back at the supermarket £30 lighter as...the food was genuinely inedible. Prior to ordering my partner advised that she’d heard ‘mixed things’, I thought why not have a gamble, please don’t make the same mistake as me!More

A completely understated restaurant housed within a local hotel, gentle atmosphere ideal for conversation and fabulous food. We had a wonderful meal with a flavour explosion without being hot or burny to spoil the experience. Very friendly staff and overall a great evening

This restaurant serves traditional Malaysian food that brought back memories of travels in Malaysia. Superb! We thoroughly enjoyed and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending. If you want to feel like you’re experiencing real Malaysian food this is the place to come. We’ll be back!

Went for dinner here whilst staying in the hotel next door. The staff were very polite friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and tasty. Would recommend.

I had an issue with a Groupon Voucher which I was unable to use. Although I had booked a table for technical reasons we could not use it on the night. Groupon assured me that if Raffles emailed me to confirm that we had not...used the voucher they would issue a replacement. Although in my original email I quoted the Groupon text, Raffles (Kenilworth) have refused to email me to simply confirm that I had not used the voucher on the planned date and that was it - end of story. I like Malaysian food, and have eaten in the 'real' Raffles in Singapore but have no intention of setting foot in this one!More

We used a Groupon to visit here - first time, and it was fabulous. The food was great - we chose the curry pasties, and the dim sum - which were superb. We both chose the special spicy chicken curry - again, lovely. We added...extras to our meal choosing desserts which were fresh and very good. the one thing that really stood out was the service. impeccable. so attentive, without being overbearing. the waiter even came back to check the temperature of the dicer was ok! 1st class.More

I saw Raffles Malaysian on Tripadvisor reviews. It sounded lovely and worth a visit. I asked a local girl on reception at my hotel if it was good. She said it was not and that She would not recommend it. I was in two minds...but decided to give it a chance and order a take away. I phoned and was told it would be ready in 30-40 minures. Quite a wait. Down I went. There were two tables occupied with no food on their tables. I was asked to wait in an adjoining lounge. This was empty and obviously unused, quite dingy and tired. After 50 minutes I went back into the restaurant to continue waiting. The same two sets of seated customers where still there. I asked one party if they had had food yet. No was the answer. Obviously a problem in the kitchen. After 60 minutes my take away came out. I was due 15% off on my food but the sole waiter gave me 20%. The food. I had a King Prawn fritter starter and a KP main with rice, a veg side and a roti bread. Everything was awful, hardly edible. The main I had had no KP's but what I think was a soft, gooey tofu. The rice was congealed. The whole meal was unappetising. I binned most of everything. Probably the worst take away I have EVER had. Do yourself a favour and avoid Raffles Malaysian in Kenilworth. I wish I had!More

Having made a special visit to Kenilworth on Wednesday in the hopes to talk to someone in the restaurant about menu options for vegans and also a two night stay in the hotel, I was disappointed to find no one anywhere in the hotel. No...one on reception, no one in any of the rooms I was able to walk through. I did call out loudly but no response. Not a good start. I did however see a menu and find extensive choice for vegans. I decided to take a chance and I booked a Groupon deal for a meal for two, and phoned this evening to book a table. I was told that they could not serve me any vegan options as they limit their menu for Groupon deals. This makes no sense as the vegan options were cheaper/same price as all other options. The man rudely said he can do nothing and hung up before I had finished talking. I have requested a refund from Groupon and will not come to this restaurant now on principal alone.More
