Lovely quaint thatched pub in the centre of town. Delicious home cooked food with large portions and fresh vegetables. Had the cottage pie which comes with or without a cheese topping - delicious. Gets packed so you may need to book.

This is mine and my boyfriends favourite place to eat in Stratford. We visit around 5 times a year. The food is always so hot when it comes out and you can tell it's always freshly made. I love it here because the food tastes like real home cooking. I would highly recommend the pie of the day and the... More

Luckily they found us a table but booking for an early evening meal mid week is definitely recommended!! The choice of food was great for a small quaint pub including roast of the day, pie of the day, Thai red curry etc. Good selection of beers & lagers. Don't expect much space between the tables though......

Quaint Olde World location with low beams, and not too much space! We ate on a busy Saturday night, and definitely recommend that like us you book in advance. The food was produced in what seemed no time at all, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Surprisingly tasty meals with large portions, at good value price.... More

The restaurant is cramped but the atmosphere is cosy and wait staff are friendly which made the whole experience a good one. The food was delicious, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a drink or some hearty food.

We popped in here on the off-chance before we dropped our son to the station all very hungry with a dog in tow. The took dogs in the bar area and he was suitably fussed and given water. The food is brilliant, hot, home-cooked with a little bit of a twist. My husband had cheese and chilli soup to start,... More
