A lovely cafe in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. I am a regular and the staff have always been very nice and friendly. The food and cakes are delicious, and the prices are well within the competition of the Stratford area (plus you get a lot of food for the money, definitely worth it 😋)
As a vegan myself it is very nice to have somewhere I know I'll definitely be able to grab some lunch or a cake!
wholeheartedly recommend this cafe to any vegan and non-vegan visiting or in the Stratford area!

We visited the café as it was recommended to me by a friend and I am glad we did! The food was full of flavours and looked so good that I couldn’t stop myself but to take a few photos. I had the grilled Cheese Focaccia and my friend had the Aubergenius ( which is also available as a salad). It was delicious and the portions were really big. At the same time, it was so moreish that I couldn’t stop myself from polishing the plate. If I lived closer, I would definitely become their regular customer.

We were going to Stratford for the day and needed a place to lunch - after researching local places we decided to come here - safe to say we were not disappointed! The place is small and cosy (with a few upstairs seating), menu is minimal, but some very delicious flavours to choose from! My husband who usually swears off anything 'vegan' thoroughly enjoyed it too! We tried the tofu steak and the aubergine toasties and loved it. My tahini mocha was just as I expected, lovely flavour!
Is dog friendly too which is a plus for us, we love a cafe that caters for our paw friends as well! We ope to come back next time we visit Stratford.. thank you for the wonderful experience today!

I visited with my mum for lunch (our first meal out since lockdown has been eased). I was really impressed by the choice of vegan meals, cakes, and drinks and was even more impressed when my food arrived - the presentation was thoughtful, the flavours were amazing and the portion size was generous. Everyone who works there is really kind and friendly and I will DEFINITELY be returning asap!
Also in times of Corona, Plantarium respects and upholds social distancing And everything was very clean, me and mum felt very comfortable there! Thanks guys :)

Plantarium serves delicious food and drink. We had the vegan rose hot cholocolate (absolutely delicious), tea which had every plant based milk available to accompany it, a vegan tofu steak ciabatta (which did not disappoint!!) and we shared a slice of vegan chocolate cherry cake (which was divine).
We were made to feel very welcome and our dog was presented with a bed to rest on and some biscuits.
We highly recommend it here!

I visited with my young family. The food is delicious. The service is first class and the staff are super helpful. One of the staff gave our kids some veggie crisps and oat milk free of charge, which we thought was very kind. We took some cake home with us and the portion sizes are generous as were the mains. I will be recommending this place to friends. After walking around Stratford looking for vegan options, this place felt like an oasis in a desert.

Lovely little cafe, super dog friendly. I had the grilled cheese focaccia and my husband had sweet potato and peanut butter soup. Have to say they were both very tasty. Lots of cakes and a huge range of teas and coffees .

Although non vegans we thought we would give this place a try as we passed by. If all vegan food was this good, who needs meat!?! We had an aubergine sandwich and a tofu Mexican tortilla- both were delicious! We followed this with a huge slice of apple and hazelnut cake. The best vegan dessert we have ever tried. The cafe is in a quiet square near to Shakespeare’s birthplace- seek it out!

Cute vegan cafe tucked away off the bustling streets of Stratford, Plantarium Cafe more than merits its five star rating.
It's an intimate space, but has a fair amount of seating on the ground floor and upstairs. Nice touches like a "wall of fame" for four legged friends who have frequented and a map of the world upstairs so visitors can pin where they have come from (and board games!) give you the sense of a friendly, welcoming space.
The menu is varied, with salad dishes, wraps and toasties - we had a variety, and each I tried was tasty and fresh. The "trip to Mexico" wrap was lovely, and it's a mark of the place that I've been raving about something so simple as the tomato soup for a week since: possibly the best I've ever had. The prices might seem a little expensive (around £10 for a wrap), but with many mains being served with side salad included and extremely generous portion-sizes, I defy anyone to claim they didn't receive outstanding value for money.
Zero hesitations in recommending Plantarium to anyone, plant-based or otherwise. You won't be disappointed.

How lovely to be greeted so warmly when entering an eatery with a wet dog. Even without a dog in tow, it is rare to be welcomed with smiles and conversation by proprietors. Magda and her husband are lovely people, and the cafe is small, but clean and inviting. Our dog was given a dog bed and treats, and we gorged ourselves on delicious home made cake, and coffee. We did not have time for a meal, but the menu looked enticing, and we shall definitely return. Go there to eat if you are vegan, and even if you are not, try it as you will enjoy it, and perhaps change your diet for the better.

Ordered a Birthday cake for my son's Birthday. Magda was brilliant, she is always so nice and accomodating. She prepared for us a delicious chocolate sponge cake with raspberry frosting and fresh raspberries and blueberries. It was very delicious, not too sweet ( we loved that) and very moist. I will definitely come back. Thank you so much, everyone in the family enjoyed it😊😊

We have visited Plantarium on a number of occasions and it keeps pulling us back😘
It probably has the Best Selection of Vegan Cakes anywhere 🍰 . Having travelled the breadth of the country seeking Vegan delights, we can honestly say Plantarium has the Best Vegan selection of Cakes ever tasted.
This combined with the delicious Vegan food on offer & the Fabulous array of Coffees & Teas.
Furthermore the staff are fabulous, helpful, very kind always with a smile.
A special thank you to Magda the Owner who works tirelessly to make the wonderful delights. She is always kind and today we had a wonderful chat about her endeavours in making her dreams come true. She is a special person, with such a Magnetic personality 🥰.
We will continue to visit, let others know & whoever is reading this, please visit, you will thoroughly enjoy the tastes & visit. 💞

Today was the 1st time I visited the cafe. The staff are friendly, the cakes all looked deilious. I ordered a almond milk coffee and a slice of rose pistachio cake. Both were tasty, but £8 for a coffee and cake was a little bit pricey. However I would certainly visit again :)

At the top of the stairs in the Cafe there is a sign saying “Be a little more kind than you need to Be” this sums the cafe up perfectly. We were welcomed in off a wet Stratford high street 15mins before they opened, so we could get out the rain. Such a lovely thoughtful thing to do.The food and coffee was amazing, I highly recommend the Aubergenius! The staff were friendly and happy to alter the meals to cater for my children. The chef also kindly brought some complimentary strawberries and biscotti for my two you kids, they were over the moon.
I can highly recommending this lovely cafe. Thanks guys.

We were made to feel very welcome and even our dog was attended to with dog treats. We both had the tofu steak ciabatta which came with a very nicely dressed salad and very tasty.. Coffee was very good, even the decaffeinated. The cake on display was so appealing we took a couple of pieces to have later, one piece was big enough to share. We will certainly be back next time we are in the area.
