As a resident in Stratford I visit this cafe often. They offer delicious home made cakes and lunches. The owners and staff are very friendly. The coffee here is the best which is sourced from an independent UK based roaster.

A small cafe off the beaten track....but well worth finding.....delicious homemade cakes, superb coffee and tea.....good prices and very warm and welcoming.

HR Cafe is a good choice if you want to get away from the crowds and bustle of Town. Great menu choice and good coffee/tea. Excellent service - with a smile! It cost nothing but counts for so much! Recommended for Breakfast or Lunch.

With this many good reviews it must be good right? Wrong. Over-promised and underdelivered. I mean it wasn't a complete disaster but they're not as good as they make out.

Stayed at the Premier Inn but had breakfast both days at HR. Great food and proper strength coffee with very friendly service. We even ‘took away’ their quiche and salads to eat by the river for lunch.

Although no vegan options were obviously advertised the super friendly and sociable staff presented me with a beautiful plate of their Moroccan style flatbread -with lentils, chickpeas, hummus, leaves, avocado slices and a drizzle of balsamic. Really friendly staff. Nice garden seating to back (although very small). Fantastic espresso - well priced too.
