We booked at the last minute and didn’t realise it had upstairs seating, knew the loos were upstairs. My friend is unwell and struggling to walk so the spiral stairs were a challenge. That said the guy was going to try get us a table...downstairs. Next time will definitely request downstairs seating. They offer all wine in a variety of sizes so you don’t have a limitation on choice if you don’t want a bottle. The prices were very good much lower than most places I have been recently and the wine a better quality. The menu was varied, they do pre theatre food and a fixed price. I had a steak cooked to perfection, my friend had chicken in a delicious curry sauce. Both portions were very substantial. The puds were also excellent chocolate mousse cake and an Eton mess. Service was very good and due to my friend’s health issues she needs to eat early and due to prompt service we sat down at 6pm finished by 7.30pm. We considered a neighbouring restaurant to be great but this place is so much better will be back soon.More
