I’ve been coming here for years,and watched their prices go up and up. Just shy of £11 for a glass of rose is now a little excessive. I have two bars in an affluent part of the UK, and I think I’m taking “the Michael”...charging £8.50 for the same glass of Cote de Provence. Horses for courses I understand, so I wish you all the best retaining your margins.More

Visited Stratford with friends for the weekend and went here to celebrate our some 70 th birthdays. Very friendly, attentive staff, and old building and very cosy and the food was excellent ( best piece of place ever!). Would definitely go back again

Lovely starters, I had moules mariniere. Daughter had burger for main, son had lamb shank, both delicious. Myself and partner had ribeye steak which was alright, but definitely not up to the usual standard. Waiters were attentive.

We were a family of 9 celebrating my sons 21st Birthday! Well what can I say, everything was amazing from start to finish the food was delicious, well presented and cooked to perfection. The service was second to none nothing was too much trouble, polite,...attentive friendly staff and we were not rushed at any point. The establishment has so much charm & ambience. Highly recommend the moules marinieres/frites, mango chicken & salmon fishcakes. We will definitely be back in the not so distant future.More

Family visit for a pre-theatre 'early' dinner. Pleasant atmosphere, good choice of dishes, food excellent, service friendly and professional and prices not unreasonable. Not our first visit and will certainly visit again when in Stratford. Can recommend.

Nice restaurant in a charming historic building. This restaurant has a comforting old world feel, we felt like we were back in time. Lunch was really nice, food was good and service was warm and efficient.

Again, a perfect meal. One almost yearns to find fault, but it's impossible. The soufflé was hot and dreamy, the steak cooked to perfection and don't even get me started on the sticky toffee pudding...! Adjectives fail me. There realy is only one great restaurant...in Stratford upon Avon and this is it...!More

Fantastic , no other description needed. Not cheap (what is nowadays), great quality and variety, great staff and lovely atmosphere. I do not mind paying the money as long as it is worth it, this evening certainly was. Thank you

Had an early dinner before theatre. Ordered off a la carte. Food was well cooked and tasty. Service was slowish, but there was a large group in ahead of us. Lamb shank is a large portion. Mango lime chicken with curry sauce was delicious.
