Absolutely brilliant evening. The food was exceptional and the service attentive without being intrusive. I would say the best Italian restaurant I have been to. Price wise it is not cheap but not overally expensive. Wish it was nearer to my home as would visit...often.More

We were recommended this eatery and were not disappointed. Pleasing ambivalence and good service. I had the fish soup which was followed by a rather large veal in breadcrumbs and chips, house wine was nice and reasonably priced

Booked this restaurant well in advance to coincide will a stay in Stratford to celebrate my wife's 65th birthday. I emailed the restaurant to advise them of the reason for our visit and requested a quite table. Unfortunately when we arrived shown to a table...in area packed with tables with very vocal and noisy groups. At no point did the restaurant even acknowledge my wife's birthday. The prices in this restaurant seem somewhat on the high side, basically one of their cheapest main courses each and a bottle of wine came to well over £60 and the food provided was at best average. We where very disappointed with the ambiance and the overall experience and would not go again.More

We visited this restaurant for a,special birthday celebration, requested a quiet table for a romantic meal however we were place next to 2 tables with diners shouting at each other to be heard! The food was average at best, very expensive and when asked if...everything was OK I mentioned a few potatoes were black and inedible ( you only get a very small portion) the waitress laughted. In all wouldn't recommend if you want a quiet high quality meal , not a noisy canteen with tablecloths. 😃More

Delicious freshly cooked food ..we had the fish soup to start followed by prawn linguine and pasta with slow cooked pork ragu sauce. All very good. Plenty of choice for non meat eaters. The surroundings were semi formal (white linen tablecloths ) and there's a nostalgic feel - some might find it a bit dated but we liked it. (Much better than the rather uniform gastropub look of most of the other places in town we looked at). Highly recommended!More

Great Italian restaurant. Welcoming, plenty of space with a nice authentic feel. Super Negroni aperitif to start, pasta and seafood dishes were serviced in good portions, great tasting food. We booked two weeks before our visit. Very friendly staff. With a great range of traditional Italian starters and mains. Had the mussels for starters which was great. Followed by specials of the day . Veal rib eye on the bone also very nice. My...wife was going to have the sea bass but felt it would be too large for one person. We had a lovely supper here pre theatre. Very friendly staff who take pride in what they do, busy service but food was promptly delivered. We would recommend the veal in mushroom sauce, spaghetti vongole and hazelnut profiteroles.
