We loved it! THE best sushi in Birmingham! Great choice, fresh fish and excellent service, totally recommend! I love the idea of tables by the kitchen, you can sneak peek what the chef’s doing.

Went here for my daughters birthday. Small Japanese restaurant with a few tables and bar around the chef. Amazing food quickly made and very fresh. Waiter was brilliant sitting down and explaining to my son the best way to use chopsticks. Had a great meal,...sat down just after it opened for the evening but busy by the time we left. Would highly recommend.More

The service was wonderful…the waiter was so personable and helped us to navigate the menu as it was our first authentic sushi experience. Our choices were all amazing…fresh and delicious. A truly memorable experience.

I can’t rave enough about this place. I’ve only ever ordered takeaway but would love to sit in when I have a chance. The sushi tastes so fresh, beautifully assembled and you can taste and see the effort that goes into each set -best sushi...in Birmingham without a doubt. I recently broke my leg and have be unable to leave my top floor flat about a 5 minute walk from the restaurant. My dad arranged with them if they could bring the food up to my front door and they did! What a lovely surprise. They went above and beyond just as they did during lockdown for NHS staff. Thank you so much.More

We went out there, as my dad wanted to have sushi because he never tried it (nor did anyone in my family) before. I reserved a table online after hearing recommendations about it through word of mouth . The place is smaller than I expected...with only a couple tables and a "bar" area by the looks of it. The waiting staff was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. They explained things to us as we were not at all knowledgeable on the topic. We ordered several set plates and shared it between ourselves and accommodated us with extra little plates for each of us. The food quality and taste is excellent with good variety on the set plates and the "omakase" (leave it to the chef) plate had a little bit of everything so if you have a hard time choosing, with that you can have a little bit of everything as well. The price might seem a bit dear at first but considering the nature of sushi and fresh fish, after eating, the premium felt justified and well worth it. The only little gripe I had is because the place is small and was very warm the door was left open and due to having a busy main road in front the sound bleeding in was kind of annoying but they closed the door soon after so I won't take any points off for that. Overall it was an awesome experience and I would recommend it to anyone who already likes sushi or to people who are on the verge of trying it.More

Delicious food and friendly ambiance. The fish was very fresh, prepared by the incredibly talented chef Sanjay who presented beautiful pieces. Really recommend the grilled eel nigiri and anything yellowtail and tuna. The host Maciek was also fantastic, very friendly and made our lunch particularly...enjoyable. Authentic dining experience, really worth the visit for an intimate and very tasty meal. Thank you for the memorable time!More

Absolutely incredible. My partner and I have tried a lot of sushi in Birmingham and this is hands down the best. The fish was fresh and delicious and the rice was really yummy. Well worth the price! Hopefully see you again soon!

Waiter was funny, good-natured and helpful. Had a platter of nigiri and sashimi (omakase) which was a fun mixture of different seafood (and ikura!), and an eel roll. Tried friend's tempura crab which was also excellent. Food was amazing. Very expensive but also very good...food and service.More

I’d book... They have about 12 seats.. I can’t remember the exact prices, perhaps £6/8.50 for three pieces or something like that. Not expensive for the quality if you understand the cuisine, the skill and the ingredients... More

I don’t think they serve alcohol... I could be wrong. But they do green tea, water, soft drinks.
