Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really enjoyed the delicious pecan & carrots cake. We sat in window seats for couple soft drinks & coffees & cake. Lovely staff here. Only few seats but would recommend.

Twice in 3 days i have ordered instead of coke i get pepsi max they keep repeating it and for that i won't be ordering again. If they haven't got the items then amend the order but twice this week now . Disrespectful to customers...completely sending items out that are incorrect 😤More

The customer service I received today was unparalleled. Mistakes happen, I received an incorrect order but all it took was a single phone call and less than 5 minutes for the replacement to reach me. I’ve never had an issue resolved as quickly and efficiently...as today. There’s not many establishments that will go above and beyond but Picassos definitely did today!More

On entry i knew we we're in for a treat! Decor was aesthetically pleasing. Very clean and well presented. Warm welcome. Desserts were well packaged and generous sized portions. The carrot cake and red velvet tasted AMAZING. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 10/10. No need to look elsewhere.

This dessert shop was a lovely little shop with some amazing desserts, with a wide variety of things to choose from. The desserts are very nice, however the staff need to be more professional, most of them are just kids. I wouldn't be able to...give 5 stars as the staff just put you off. If this dessert shop was to hire some trained professional staff i would say its the best dessert shop in Birmingham.More

This is a small place and we weren't allowed upstairs. It seemed quite busy with many people. It might be better to phone and collect the order. The deserts and ice cream were also well packaged. You can use the Tesco car park and pick...up. There was a slight delay with the order due to how busy they were but there were enough staff to deal with the demand. I would go again as the deserts are quite nice.More

During the Lockdown my family decided we fancied dessert. Picasso in Hodge Hill to the rescue. We ordered in cookie dough and cinnamon ice-cream which was a perfect choice from a great range of selections. Excellent service, friendly, helpful and delivery was very quick. I...would definitely recommend. 10/10 MBMore

My friend I popped down to this place - she had been before and said it was really good. However neither of us really enjoyed our experience this time. She said it was far better last time she went which was over a year ago....This was my first time and I mostly certainly won’t be returning. The counter is downstairs. The place is tucked away is this dodgy area, which seems extra dodgy in the dark, near a Tesco. You walk in , and first expression is wow. The deco is defo nice, there’s a lovely funky coloured sofa, good lighting, the cakes look amazing... shame they don’t taste how they look.... So we were taken to our seats upstairs - very tight cosy place, it wasn’t busy when we went so could become overcrowded when busy. Loved the LED tree in the corner, the little candles on the tables. Small touches but defo make a difference. The place has so much potential but it’s a shame the food and service let it down. We ordered waffles (kiss- raspberries and choc), and red velvet cake and Moroccan tea. The cake was awful, it’s like it had no sugar, extremely dry, the icing was awful. And for £4 the slice was very small, with a huge dollop of floppy watery squirty cream, which totally ruined it. The waffles was very doughy, the plate seemed so oversized - the taste of the raspberries with chocolate was okay however it just looked so cheap for the price your paying which is real shame. The tea was nice. The pot size has got smaller according to my friend - we ordered two, the second we waited about 20mins for because the waitress was far too busy either on her phone or hugging the other waitress. The amount of staff was silly, they seemed so engrossed in their own misconduct almost like it was a bother serving customers. Not all of them but the ones upstairs defo need some lessons in etiquettes and how to serve. Those two things really let it down for us, the service and food. Was it work it? No Would I go back? No Would I recommend it? No Deco very nice, just a shame really. Far better places out there.More
