I came here on a Saturday night with 7 of my friends and was disgusted by the service of the rude staff! Also the time it took to bring the curry out was over 40 mins. And to make matters worse after waiting so long for the curry it turned up with a massive long hair in it! When we... More

Hello, Thank you visiting us last Saturday. Apologies you felt our staff were rude. The problem is that frustration levels can sometimes run high especially at 3am, where both parties are in denial. The staff just found a long blonde hair difficult to digest especially when we have all male staff with either black or grey hair. Nonetheless the staff... More

We arrived to a packed restaurant. I'd done my homework and I knew that this was one of the original Balti Restaurants in Birmingham. The guy at the front of house was not in a good mood - he did the necessary minimum and got us sat down. We ordered Paneer Tikka for a shared starter - it was under... More

First saw this restaurant on the hairy bikers show,it is one of a few original balti places around, famed for it's chicken balti,it is recommended to book especially if you go on a Friday or Saturday night. We were asked if we had been there before,we said it was our first time, very friendly staff, and the food was excellent, will certainly visit again soon.

The staff we fantastic very polite and helpful. The food was outstanding and extremely reasonable. You must get the table nan for the experience although for 2 maybe it was a little bit much. Will definitely be visiting again next time we're in Birmingham!

Loved the atmosphere, with no airs & graces, it's quite extensive menu options placed under the covering glass of the tables. Great value for money, made even more economic with a BYO wine/beer option. We had the jug of Mango Lassi which matched our starters and 2 main Balti choices beautifully. This is not fine dining. It is honest, simple,... More

Baltis - in very hot iron pans (of course), we had 4 different types and passed them around. They were not wickedly hot - but so full of flavours, rich, savoury etc, wonderful. My 92 year old mother in law is often quite picky but loved her chicken korma, coconut and herbs. Equally good and entertaining too was the "table... More

Second annual visit here on a trip to meet up with friends. Sat upstairs this time which has a bit more room than downstairs which was good. Service warm and pleasant. Food, as always, is excellent with beautiful curries and baltis. Good portion sizes and the flavours are just great. They err on the milder side which is great for... More

First visit to the Balti area of brum and not disappointed. The Baltis were delicious and service was good. A little pricy but worth it for the food quality

Thank Catherine H
