Visited the restaurant yesterday with a friend around 2pm. Ordered a cocktail each. Halfway through noticed a fly under one of the ice cubes in my drink. I quietly walked over to the waitress & showed her. Heared the most insincere "sorry" as she she...More

We started from Mailbox to walk around to find a good dinner place. Zizzi looked good and it was not too crowded. The three of us got a four seater table near the front windows. Not that much of a view, but pretty nice setup...More

I usually love Zizzis but was disappointed by our experience in the Birmingham branch! Firstly, I was gutted to see my favourite dish - the porcini tortellini has been replaced by lemon and ricotta tortellini - yuck! Such a shame. Instead I ordered the pollo...More

Absolutely lovely visit. I rarely write reviews but we had such a positive experience, I just had to pop 5 stars here! Epic pizza and amazing lamb shank, be sure to 'pimp up' your coffee too.

Really great staff, very welcoming. The interior felt a little cold, plastic chairs and not many comfy seats. Food was very good, pizza was lovely. Would visit again but feel other Mailbox restaurants offer something a little more.

Walked in at 6pm (27-03-18), wanting a table for four. Told they were fully booked with future reservations, but could seat us at 6:30pm.. didn't really make sense. Plus the restaurant looked not even half full. Came back 30mins later to the same half empty...More

This restaurant has good service and well prepared food. We, as a family, have eaten here a few times.

We had booked a table for seven of us on Friday night to celebrate a friend's birthday. Due to an unusual amount of traffic in the city - we believe there had been an accident - we were running late for our 8pm booking. We...More

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food. The beautiful refurbishment of the Royal Mail's main sorting office (hence the Mailbox name) has produced a premier shopping destination in the heart of Birmingham. And inside you’ll find our Birmingham Zizzi. Our restaurant is split into 2 main areas. Our raised floor area is great for large tables or parties with some funky light fittings to get into the party mood. And in contrast, the lower area (towards the large windows), draws more on the canal and outdoor theme, with large floating cloud-like light fittings hanging lazily overhead for a more relaxed vibe. With outdoor seating for sunny day dining and only a stone’s throw from the city centre’s attractions our restaurant in the Mailbox is the perfect way to end your day out. Dine al fresco with an outdoor dining area for sunny weather.
