This is a cosy and authentic Polish restaurant within easy walking distance of Birmingham city centre. Whilst in the basement of an office building, once inside you could be sitting in a cabin in a polish forest. The food is excellent and the wine reasonably...More

Wow! what amazing service, staff, prices and menu. Food is absolutely beautiful, gobsmackingly good. Second time we have visited and both times we have been greeted warmly and cheerfully and have held conversations with staff members, can't understand why anyone would take issue with the...More

The restaurant is unusually decorated in the style of Polish tavern and has a lovely homely atmosphere. Although central, the area is not the best and you might walk straight past the front door without realising it. However, the food here is very tasty and...More

Description
The Karczma is a traditional Polish restaurant, bar and grill located in the heart of Birmingham, just 5min walk from both the Bull Ring Shopping Centre and Moor Street Rail Station. Restaurant is decorated in the style of an old Polish country cottage seating 85 people across 2 rooms. The menu is designed to reflect a homely, hearty and rustic food that's quintessentially Polish, and prepared using only the very best quality ingredients. The menu contains numerous Polish classics including Pierogi (stuffed dumplings), Berszcz (Beetroot soup), Pickled Herring, Zurek (Pickled Rye Flour Soup) served from a hollowed out loaf of bread, as well as a whole host of grilled meats and fish. We wish you a pleasant stay and Enjoy !!!
