Thursday evening 6:00 pm saw this well established pub thronged with post work social drinkers making a lively but pleasant atmosphere. A former banking hall, the place is huge with original decor, panelling, mouldings and a fantastic ceiling with massive skylight. Vast selection of beers, if you feel extravagant maybe fork out £300 on a Vintage Bottle of Fullers Beer!... More

Found this pub/bar/theatre by mistake but what a mistake. Absolutely beautiful inside, it used to be a library then a bank and it has to be seen to be believed. Went next morning for breakfast and both the food and service were just perfect.

Went for lunch after going to the nearby Cathedral on a family history visit. Impressive building, busy downstairs so we went upstairs to eat- good views of the interior architecture/decor and the bar, and quieter. We enjoyed the home-baked pies and beer, service was good too despite it being busy.

Lovely atmosphere, with the bar as the centrepiece. Great for drinks after work with colleagues near the Cathedral.

Attend on a Saturday evening with four friends early evening. Busy place but service was quite quick. Only had drinks, excellent if you like real ale as they have numerous to choose from. Will be returning quite soon hopefully.

I have gone here a couple of times and have found the experience to be generally excellent. I'm not a drinker so I can't speak for the alcohol but as a place to spend time with friends, it was relaxed and clean with superb customer service from the staff. The building itself is a delight, dripping with character. One negative... More

Visited here a long time ago. I had smoked cod on mash with spinach underneath and a nice soft egg on top. Husband ordered a toasted sandwich with no Mayo,,, it arrived with Mayo and had to go back. It was ok when it arrived. The waiter did apologise. Overall a nice atmosphere, busy with lunchtime worked and visitors. Convenient... More

Description
With it very own theatre, The Old Joint Stock is one of Fuller's Ale & Pie pubs, and is housed in a grand Grade II listed building. Right in the centre of Birmingham, it has opulent decor crowned with an ornate glass dome above the central main bar. The Venue offers very well kept Traditional Cask Ales with some matched to the pies and other menu options...A must see for Birmingham!
