About
With it very own theatre, The Old Joint Stock is one of Fuller's Ale & Pie pubs, and is housed in a grand Grade II listed building. Right in the centre of Birmingham, it has opulent decor crowned with an ornate glass dome above the central main bar. The Venue offers very well kept Traditional Cask Ales with some matched to the pies and other menu options...A must see for Birmingham!

With this being the first stop on our pub crawl, we were certainly impressed with the spacious and lavishly decorated interior. We didn't go to the theatre, but it certainly somewhere where you might want to hang out for either pre or post theatre drinks....More

Absolutely loved it, brilliant building, like a theatre inside, great choice of drinks as you would expect, and the food very good standard, I enjoyed the busyness of the place, it had a real Buzz about it!

Cracking real ales as usual here. Always up to standard and an easy recommendation for beer drinkers to head for.

We stopped in here for drinks as we wandered round the city centre on a Saturday evening. It is a cavernous place, with ornate decoration and a high domed ceiling. This means that although it was very busy, it was still possible to hold a...More

The place is amazing, the photographs don’t lie , the ales are plentiful and excellent, but the food was poor. Pie selection consisted of tiny, dry pies with hardly any filling. Expected more for 14 pounds a head. Not rushing back for the food.....

A very traditional and super beautiful old style pub in the heart of Birmingham with a great atmosphere. Many beers on a tap, food specialized in pies, which taste really nice.

Good variety of drinks and speciality pies. Gets very busy so sometimes queues at the bar, but to be expected in the city centre.
