Brilliant night at Fredericks for DJ Unknowns Simply Soul night- nice crowd, friendly staff and most importantly tune after tune! Would recommend any Simply Soul event but wear comfy shoes because you will be dancing all night!

I am in Walsall for the first time and exploring the town centre. I spotted the Victorian Arcade and had a look. What a treat this arcade is. It is here that I am sitting in the arcade, rather than inside the coffee shop.Nothing wrong with the coffers shopI just like watching the world go by. I had a cappuccino... More

Fredericks was always our first port of call for business lunches and cheeky happy hour pints. A change of ownership and staff along with increased prices have driven what looks like many people away. None of the regular customers or staff were present on my last visit. There's no longer any atmosphere. So sad.

This bar is located in the heart of Birmingham's jewellery quarter. We called in for a drink on a Saturday lunchtime. Some of the chairs were in definite need of re-upholstering. The bar staff were indifferent. It lacked atmosphere. The staff didn't warn us that they were having extremely noisy building work undertaken just at the rear of the bar.... More

Great venue for a private function. This is the second time i've been to this venue for a function and again not disappointed. The venue is clean and well stocked. The staff were helpful and happy throughout the evening. Having travelled a good few miles i was not let down

Coffee and cake for two, and change from a tenner (would have been even cheaper if we hadn't upgraded to large coffees). Pleasant service, spotless surroundings: will visit again next time we're in the Jewellery Quarter.

This place is deceptive, it looks a lot bigger outside than inside as you expect this place to have a second floor but it doesn't. Popped in late afternoon on a Saturday, its a coffee bar come lounge - has a bit of an identity crisis really! The food is basic fair, decent enough if you don't mind sandwiches/paninis or... More

Went along to hear Reed bass and friends. Nice night with mellow chilled out vibe. Staff were friendly with 2 for 1 cocktails and bar snacks. We did get up to have a boggy to great Northern Soul singer.
