4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

Popped in today, haven't been for a while. Got seated straight away, usually have to wait for 20 minutes, wasn't too busy. Service was quick, the food and service was amazing as always, only downside was the bread and salad bar, breads nothing like is used to be. It's hard, so small, by time you've broken into it there not... More

We went back to the harvester because its handy for us to meet there. Two of had fish and chips, wow was the batter was greasy. Its gone back to how it was a while ago. After several people moaned about the grease, the batter got better. But I would definitely not order anything that has batter. We both left... More

Visited on the 8th of January. The service at the start was ok. Took a couple of minutes before any member of staff greeted us and a further couple of minutes to be seated. Food took a little while to be served on both starters and main courses. The steak is definitely not 28 day matured and I even queried... More

For some reason my expectations weren't very high for the Wheatsheaf, but it didn't take long for them to disavow me of this false assumption, because this is an excellent establishment, well-run with an excellent, professional and friendly staff. And the food's not bad either! As a vegetarian I appreciate having a decent choice of varied dishes that suits my... More

Lovely exterior building. Attractive decor inside, nice lighting. Bar and toilet area clean and maintained. Welcoming, attentive staff (especially Sharon). Salad, breakfast area clean and restocked regularly. Delicious food, well cooked, presented and good portion size. As a veggie can recommend the battered halloumi. Plates, bowls cutlery clean. Drinkswise £4 pint £3 glass wine. Overall a winner for our family... More

I stopped going to this harvester years ago as it was a bit rubbish but since they've refurbished it, it is now one of my favourite places. The food is always nice, the building and lights set a really nice mood and all the staff are always really helpful. The only thing I don't like is that sometimes I can... More

This looks so much after it's refurb. The staff are very welcoming. I like that you can make up your own breakfast. As I am a fussy eater. It's also unlimited so you can have as much as you like. It's great to help yourself to unlimited beverages. Also to the continental breakfast options. Very good and enjoyable.

Lots of choice and great value for money. I like that you can choose which breakfast foods you would like and the breakfast continental bar has lots of variety which you can help yourself to. Friendly staff.
